"Mom?" I yelled as I walked into my parents house. I pretty much promised Carmen that i would talk to them about everything that is going on.
I walked in and saw my mom on the couch with a another man he was on her neck. "OH GOSH!" I said turning around. My mom then gasped and looked at me and so did the man.
"What the fuck mom!" I said. "Honey, let's uh talk about this." She said. "N-no I don't wanna talk about it? Hey-what is there to talk about huh? I mean it's quite obvious that your cheating on my father!" I said.
"We were never together!" She said. I then looked at her as my face froze. "What?..." I asked.
"Look let's go out back." She said.
"Uh maybe I should go." The guy said scratching the back of his neck as he got up. "Yeah maybe you should." I said as my mom grabbed my arm telling me to stop.
"Mom what is going on?" I asked. "It was fake, your dad I... we argued a lot." She said grabbing my hand. I pulled away. "No, you guys never argued."
" In front of you yn." She said. "We just wanted to keep you happy and we didn't want you to grow up not getting to spend your birthday and thanksgivings and Christmases with both of your parents." She said. "We never signed the divorce papers because we knew that we'd probably have to split up."
"Mom... I don't know what to say." I said. "Don't say anything mija, I never wanted to keep this away from you but I wanted you to be happy and I didn't want you to spend your childhood like me, and your dad agreed because he went through it to, and I don't hate your father. He'll always have a place in my heart and he's a amazing dad." She said.
I smiled and wiped my tears. "Thank you." I said. "Your welcome mi nina, where have you been?!" She said hugging me. "I've been staying with Carmen and Tristan. Me and Miguel are dating now." I said.
"Omg! That's wonderful, can I meet him?!" She asked. "Yeah ofc, I'll just have to talk to him." I said.
"Does he treat you right?" She asked. "Yeah." I said. We then heard the door open from the back. "Selena I just needed to get my-"
"Yn..." he said looking at me. "I know everything." I said. "And I know you guys are seeing other people."
"We are?" He asked. My mom then slapped my arm telling me to shut the hell up. I giggled as I covered my mouth. "Well why does it matter you guys don't even feel affectionate go out on a date with someone else!" I said.
They both laughed. "yn we need to talk." My dad said. "I'll leave you guys." My mom said.
"We need to talk about what happened before you walked out." He said. "Look, dad-"
"I'm sorry." He said. I then gave him a confused look. "Huh?" I asked.
"I said I'm sorry, yk? About everything. You were right your a adult and I shouldn't have questioned who you were going out with." He said.
"Thanks... uh make a long story short we went out again got into a little argument dad! A tiny one! Then he told me he loved me and now we're together." I said doing a light smile looking at him to get his approval.
"And when do we get to meet this...?"
"Miguel."
"Miguel.?"
"Uh like I told mom, I'll ask him and we can plan a date." I said. "Okay yeah good..." he said giving me a kiss on the forehead.
Time skip
"Are you serious?!" Tristan said.
I nodded as I got water out of the fridge. "So you mean every single time we step foot in your house your parents were just faking it all?!" Carmen asked.
"Apparently." I said.
"So when are they gonna meet Miguel?" He asked.
"I don't know I'll just call him." I said.
"No need for that." I heard a voice from behind me.
I felt a kiss touch my forehead. "Ugh can you guys please get a room!" We heard another voice. I turned it around and it was our friend Madeline McGraw.
"MADDY! OMG!" I said as I ran to her we hugged. "Maddy! What are you doing here?" Carmen asked hugging her.
"I'm here for your wedding!" She said. "But that's not until another month." She said. "Yeah but I wanted to spend more than just a week with you guys, and I see a lot of things happened since I left." She said looking at me and Miguel.
"Oh yeah." He said putting his arm around my shoulder. I was about fold again! Ahhhh!
"And guess what her parents were never even dating they were faking it the whole time." Tristan said.
"Say what now?!" Maddy said.
"Uh huh." Carmen said.
"I just realized... how the hell did you guys get in here?" I asked.
"I guess everyone is welcome in my house unannounced now..." Tristan said sighing.
