Today was my birthday. I was turning 24! Today I'm going out with Carmen, Tiffany and Maddy to get our nails done and then we're gonna get brunch. Then later I'm gonna hang out with Miguel and Maria.
"Banks gave me a promise ring!" Maddy said. We were currently getting a pedicure. "Already? You guys just started dating." I said. "Oh no, we've been dating for like longer than you think." Maddy said.
"Wow and you couldn't even tell us?!" Carmen asked. "I'm sorry! It wasn't my choice, but I'm gonna miss you guys and him so much." Maddy said.
"You've been here for so long I forgot that you don't stay here, is it gonna be a long distance relationship?" Tiffany asked.
"It's not what I even want but unfortunately yes." Maddy said. "It'll be okay mads! You both love each other and besides you still have another 5 days to make out!" I said.
Maddy giggled. "Yes." She said.
TIME SKIP We had just gotten to the restaurant and we had gotten sat to our table. We were all looking at the menu. Tiffany suddenly gasped. "Isn't that Valerie?" She asked tapping my shoulder.
Valerie was sitting at a table booth with a man and a boy who looked a little older than Maria. I guess that was her new family. I honestly couldn't care less. She's not gonna bother me on my day. Besides Maria thinks of me as her mother more than her biological mother.
"Ugh bitch." Carmen said. "How come your not having a reaction to this?" Maddy asked. "Because, I don't even care about her anymore besides I'm the one Maria calls Mommy not her." I said.
"Maria called you mommy?!" Maddy said. "I definitely missed a chapter." Tiffany said. "And the best part is that she said it right in front of Valerie." Carmen said.
Tiffany and Maddy clapped excitedly and laughed.
Once we finished our food we went back into Carmen's car. "So Yn we're actually going out tonight." Carmen said. "What? No I can't I'm gonna be with Miguel and Maria tonight." I said.
"I already told Miguel, he said he's fine with it and he's gonna watch Maria. I also have some clothes for you!" Camden said. "Are you sure? Miguel said he's fine with it?" I asked.
"yep." Maddy said. "You guys know about this too?" I asked. "Ofc we do." Tiffany said.
We pulled into Carmen's driveway. We stepped out of the car as Carmen put her key in to get into the house. Tristan wasn't here surprisingly.
"So since it's your birthday we're gonna do your own hair and makeup and we already picked out a outfit for you! It's literally the cutest." Maddy said.
"Oh umm okay!" I said.
TIME SKIP "You look beautiful." Tiffany said. I put my hand to my heart. "Thank you so much for doing my makeup! I love you so much." I said hugging her. She smiled and hugged me back.
"Okay ready to go?" Carmen asked. "Yeah!" I said. "Good, Tristan is outside with the car." Carmen said.
"Tristan? What's going on-"
"Shhhh! It's your birthday girl, don't ask questions." Carmen said. I shrugged and followed them downstairs. They let me in first.
"Here put these on." Tristan said handing them to me. "Why?-"
"what'd I say? No questions." Carmen said. "I really don't understand why I have to-"
"PUT THE BLINDFOLDS ON!" They all yelled at me. "Okay Okay fine!" I said putting the blindfolds on.
After a couple of minutes I felt Tristan park the car. "Okay I'll help you get out Yn." Maddy said. "Okay." I said. She helped me get out she let go of my hands as someone else's hands grabbed mines. They felt familiar.
They felt like Miguel's....
