Amelia rolled over in bed, scrolling through her phone. She had received a message from Samantha telling her she was having a pool party about 15 minutes ago.
Her parents had left around 10 minutes ago for their yearly party at the club, once Amelia had passed up on to go to said pool party.
Amelia and Sam had been friends basically since birth. The Peabody's and LaRusso's were two of the most financially well, and well respected families in the valley.

Amelia sighed as she rolled out of bed, she grabbed one of her many bikini's from her closet and got changed, throwing an oversized Queen shirt over top with some black biker shorts underneath. She looked at her appearance in the mirror, her short frame staring back at her.
She sighed before grabbing her bag and phone, receiving a message from Yasmine asking for a ride over to Sam's.

Apparently the other night when Moon, Yasmine, and Sam went out (Amelia staying home to work on homework) Yasmine had completely totaled her Range Rover, from 'hitting a deer', but Sam later confirmed it was from hitting another car while she was looking at her phone.
Amelia sent a quick 'Yes' before grabbing her pack of cigarettes and walking out on her balcony.
She inhaled it slowly as she lit it, waiting a few moments before blowing out the smoke.
She took a few more puffs before her phone was blowing up due to Yasmine 'not wanting to be the last ones there'. Amelia rolled her eyes before putting out her cigarette in her ash tray, then placing it in the drawer of the table on her balcony. She grabbed her bag and keys and headed out the door.

"You reek like smokes," was the first thing Yasmine said as she got into Amelia's Lexus. "Well hello to you too," Amelia replied, popping a piece of gum in, then continued driving.
Yasmine rolled her eyes as pulled out a bottle of perfume and began spraying Amelia with it, causing the younger girl to scrunch her nose. "Thanks for that,"
"You're welcome."

Amelia had been sitting next to Sam, Moon and Yasmine by the pool, music playing everyone was laughing and having a good time.
"Okay you were totally right, this is so much fun" Sam had smiled.
"Told you. Always better to be the one throwing the party." Yasmine had said.
Amelia had glanced over at Kyler, who had been non stop staring at Sam.
"Kyler has been eye-banging you all day," Amelia smiled giving Sam a nudge. As moon had gotten up no record some kid doing another flip off the trampoline, in walked Daniel LaRusso.

"What the hell is going on here?"
That's when the music turned off and Sam got up in a hurry. "I'm sorry dad. I had no idea you would be home this early."
Amelia watched the father-daughter duo go back in forth for a few more moments as everyone began scattering, taking off Daniels swimsuits. "Daniel, a minute?" Amanda asked pulling him away.

Sam crossed her arms over her chest. "God this is humiliating,"
Amelia walked over to her, Yasmine and Moon seeming to already fleeing the party. "I mean, it's not the worse thing that could've happened. At least you weren't throwing a ragger" Sam smiled and nodded, "Yeah, you should probably head home, I'll clean up."
"Are you sure? I can stay and help."
"No, It's okay, thank you for coming."
"Anytime Sammy, I'll text you later"
With that Amelia had began making her way to the front of the LaRusso home. Amanda and Daniel walking out as she did. "Nice seeing you Mia," Amanda had said, "Yeah, you too."

Amelia had been sitting at the cafeteria table with Moon as Sam and Yasmine walked in. Amelia had been staring at the table ahead of their 'rich girls' table at what Yasmine liked to call the 'virgin' table. Amelia looked over at the new kid, Miguel his name was. He was in her science class this morning. Yasmine locked eyes with Eli, the kid with the freaky lip, as Kyler always said. Once every time made Amelia roll her eyes. He was a nice kid, he and Amelia have had a few conversations, were he was very quiet, but quite sweet.

"Oh my god you guys, you see that guy over there who looks like he went down on a lawnmower?" Yasmine began, causing the entire table to stare at the boy, who had sad eyes as he realized that Yasmine was indeed making fun of him.
"He's literally wearing the ugliest sweater I have ever seen,"
Moon and Sam laughed, "That is so wrong," Sam laughed slightly. "Speaking of wrong check out fuglisha. She looks like she ate a picnic table." Moon and Yasmine broke out into a fit of laughter while Aisha sat alone at a table. "That's not very funny," Amelia had said, seeing the clearly hurt Aisha. "It's fine Mia, just a little joke, or should I say, a big joke," this caused more laughter to fill the table. Amelia just rolled her eyes and stared down at her tray of food that remained un-touched.

Mia and Sam then looked over, seeing Miguel begin to walk up to their table. He had a somewhat confident attitude as he approached the table of girls. This was until Kyler took a seat at their table, right next to Sam. Amelia noticed how Miguel froze. He stood there for what felt like hours, before Kyler waved at him, snapping Miguel out of whatever daze he had been in. Amelia felt a bubble of pity in her stomach as she watched Miguel go back to his table, sighing in defeat.

"I'm going to go get a soda," Amelia announced, as she stood up, making her way out of the cafeteria to the outer vending machines that actually had decent selections.
That's when a boy came up to her. He had blond hair that had been slicked back. He also had some of the most beautiful eyes Amelia had ever seen.
"Hey," he said as he stood beside her. "Hi", Amelia responded, sliding her $1 bill into the machine. "Do you wanna buy some shit?", the boy had asked. Amelia laughed as she grabbed her soda.
"What kind of shit?"
"The kind that makes you feel good,"
"Care to be a bit more specific pretty boy?"
The boy then pulled out a bag of pills.
"What do you say? I'll give you the pretty girl discount, $10 per pill. What do you say?"

Amelia rolled her eyes, looking at a teacher making their way down the hallway
"I say, you shouldn't be selling highly, may I say over priced, drugs on school property. Especially in the middle of the hallway. See you later pretty boy,"

With that Amelia had turned around, walking away. However for the rest of the day, she couldn't get the certain boy out of her head.
