Mia woke up the next morning incredibly sore. Her entire body was aching and the last thing she wanted to do was go to out with her friends doing god knows what. They made this plan a few days ago and Mia would've felt bad to cancel the day of.
She got out of bed and went into her closet, it was warm out, but a sweater would probably be her best bet to avoid any accidental reveals of her father from the other night. She grabbed a dark green crewneck and lose jeans and got dressed. She sat at her vanity, the bruise on her cheek had disappeared slightly, the swelling had gone down, but it was still very noticeable.
She grabbed color corrector, cringing as it made contact with the bruise. She then applied her foundation and concealer like normal, smiling slightly as it was hardly noticeable. She finished getting ready before grabbing her keys and heading out the door.

Amelia was at the park, sitting on a bench in between Miguel and Aisha, Demetri sitting on the other side of Miguel, while Hawk had been playing on the field. Miguel had finished telling them about a boy he had seen Sam with.
"Look, I may be pissed with Sam, but she would never cheat, she's always been loyal" Mia had said, giving her ex best friend some credit.
"Like when she was talking smack about you?" Aisha said, still looking at her phone. Mia felt a ping to her heart as she slumped on the bench, biting her nails."Come on, eat something, It'll make you feel better,"
"I told you man, I'm not hungry," Mia gave Miguel a sad look and rubbed his shoulder, Miguel gave her a small smile.
"I still think you're overreacting"
"I'm not overreacting dude. I know what I saw"
"Alright, so you saw her eating dinner with some chode. It's probably just her brother or something," Hawk said as he walked over, leaning on Mia slightly.
"No dude. Brothers don't look at their sisters like that,"
"Depends what part of the country you're in,""Look, I just don't want what happened to sensei to happen to me"
"Alright, so you go over to this kid and beat his ass so he doesn't have a chance."
"Don't listen to Eli"
"It's Hawk,"
"Whatever" Demetri had said.Mia found herself zoning out, leaning her head on Aisha's shoulder.
"Oh that little bitch!" Aisha had said, causing Mia to lift her head off her shoulder.
"What's wrong?"
"You know that video I posted, of me breaking that board?"
The group nodded. "Look at what Yasmine commented,"
Mia looked at the phone and rolled her eyes.
"Why am I still friends with these people?"
"Oh shit" Miguel said. "I gotta do something," Aisha said."Alright, how about we kidnap her and have my boy Rico tattoo 'Bitch' on her face?"
Mia rolled her eyes.
"Calm down Hawk"
"Okay, I hear how you're saying it, and I don't like it" Hawk said, causing a small laugh from Mia.
"Wait, wait, wait. I've got a better idea," Aisha showed the phone about Yasmine's party.
"Ugh, I forgot I had to go to that," Mia said.
"Yasmine is throwing a birthday party at the canyon later?"
"Not if we strike first"
"Hell yeah," Hawk smiled as he nodded.~~~
Mia had been laying in bed, her head resting on Robby's chest. "I missed you," she had said. "I missed you too. I'm sorry I've been so swamped up with training," Robby had said.
"Ugh me too, your dad has been up my ass about it since we entered this stupid tournament. Hey, it doesn't bother you I'm in Cobra Kai right?" Mia had asked, sitting up."Why would you think that?"
"Just everything with your dad. I mean I know you said it was fine but if you want me to quit-"
Robby interrupted her bye giving her a kiss, once Mia gladly leaned into. Once they pulled away, Robby smiled and tucked her hair behind her ear.
