When Amelia got home she was thanking every lucky star her parents weren't home. Tears were running down her face, partly due to embarrassment, and partly due to her realizing how fucked up the night had been and how messed up she was.

She looked at her watch, it was only about 11 or so. She made her way up to her bedroom, not even trying to stop the tears.
She felt humiliated she let not only Allison, but her sensei see her in such a state. She was also so upset with herself that she completely freaked out at the diner, she was just upset with herself.
She just wanted to lay in bed and cry.

When she made her way up to her room, she saw Robby coming in through her baloney. She sighed as she ran her hands through her hair as she sat on her bed. She then burred her head in her hands.

"What the hell was that?" Robby asked as he walked in, clearly referring to Valley Fest. But Amelia just kept her head in her hands, hiding her face from her boyfriend.
"Mia what the hell is going on with you recently? I told you about the performance at Valley Fest and you didn't even give me a heads up!"
It was when Mia heard his voice raise, she covers her ears with her hands.
Robby's face softened. He sat beside his girlfriend and saw the tears streaming down her face.

"I'm sorry. I'm sorry okay, I'm sorry" she said, her voice breaking. She took a breath as she finally looked at Robby. "Oh Mia" Robby mumbled when he saw the bruise showing on her eye.
"Don't do that"
"Don't do what?"
"Give me fake pity."
"Mia it's not fake pity. Please, just tell me what the hell has been going on with you? Please, I'm worried sick"

Mia felt more tears well up in her eyes, falling down her rosy cheeks.
"Robby, I'm really sorry about Valley fest. I-I should've given you a heads up, or-or convince them not to do it. I'm a bad girlfriend and I'm sorry-"
Robby wrapped his girlfriend in a hug. Mia Burried her head into his shoulder as Robby ran his hands through Mia's hair. "I'm so sorry" she cried. Robby held her tighter.
"What else is going on Love? I'm hear to listen with no judgment."

Mia pulled out of the hug, she took a deep breath.

"Robby, I don't like myself very much" she confessed.
"What?"
"Robby, I look in the mirror and I hate what I see. My stomach is too big, so are my thighs. I talk too much, I'm too loud, I'm a terrible girlfriend, not to mention a giant failure-" She rambled quickly, once Robby cut off.
"Hey, slow down,"
"God, sorry, even now I'm just overreacting." she said as more tears ran down her face.
"Amelia, you know none of those things are true right?"
Mia just looked down at her hands. Robby took her hands in his, rubbing her knuckles softly.

"You deserve someone better Robby"
"Mia, there is nobody better then you"
"You don't mean that"
"I do, I really do"
Mia shot him a look, as tears continued to stream down her face.

"You know, I always thought that you were the most beautiful and perfect girl I've ever seen"
Amelia laughed slightly as she wiped her eyes. "Then clearly you haven't seen many other girls before"
"Mia. I know me saying this isn't going to solve all your problems, but you are the most beautiful, kind-hearted, tough, badass, smartest, and once again beautiful person I have ever met. I'm sorry I came in here and I yelled at you."
"It's okay" Mia said, smiling slightly.
"Hey Mia?"
Mia looked up at him.
"I love you" Robby said, causing Mia's gaze to soften.
"You do?"
"I love you so much" he said
Mia smiled, "I love you too Rob"

Robby stared at his girlfriend for a moment, smiling before he leaned in, the two sharing a kiss. Robby ran his fingers through Mia's hair, holding her close. Mia moved to Robby's lap as she deepened the kiss. She wrapped her arms around Robby's neck.
They pulled apart for a moment, Robby lightly grazed his thumb over the bruise under Mia's eye.

"Did your parents do this?" he asked softly. "My dad" she mumbled.
Robby looked up at her, Mia rested her hand on his cheek. "I'm okay, don't worry about me" she said.
"Mia-"
"I've got it under control. I just want to focus on the two of us"
"I want that too"

Mia and Robby both smiled at each other as they leaned in for another kiss.
