Amelia didn't want to go to school, but staying home wasn't an option. Even if she had a fever of 104 they would still make her go. Amelia dragged herself out of her bed and got ready.
She soon headed down to her kitchen, her father was sitting at the table, going over files with his coffee in his hand. Her mother was cleaning up the kitchen. "Bye guys," she said grabbing her keys. "Bye!" Her mother yelled from the kitchen. No 'I love you,' that wasn't what Amy and Richard did. It wasn't even tough love, it was just tough.Amelia was hoping she would run into Robby again. She enjoyed his company. But when she arrived at school she was greeted with everyone snorting at Aisha, being immature assholes. Amelia frowned as she watched Aisha race to class, trying to avoid the mayhem that was high school. Amelia looked around the halls, sighing when she didn't see the green eyed boy. She then went to class, hoping to see him at lunch.
Amelia had spent her free block studying in the Library with Sam. Amelia had an upcoming AP English that she was not excited or prepared for. "I'm just going to grab a book," Sam said, Amelia nodded. She was trying to stay focused, but Kyler and his asshat friend had to stir drama with Demetri, Eli and Miguel. Amelia ran her fingers through her hair, her leg bouncing under the table.
Ever since her talk with Robby, she had noticed how much of assholes her friends were being. She found herself getting more and more irritated with them. Sam was an exception of course, but everyone else just seemed so fake. Sam soon came back with her book, and they continued to study.

Amelia arrived home after a few more hours cramming in the Library. There was a note on the coffee machine that read;
Got called in for a business' trip. Don't smoke in the house.
Amelia rolled her eyes, it would be a lonely couple of weeks.
Especially after Amelia had got a phone call from Kyler.
