Abhimanyu was tensed, waiting outside the ward while another female doctor checked on Akshara. He wanted to do it himself but his hands were shaking to even think clearly.

"She will be fine, Bhai. Don't worry." Neil patted his brother's back in assurance even though he himself was nervous.

"This is the second time she fainted Neil. She is not fine. I'm feeling guilty that I noticed that she was a little anxious these past days but never took the initiative to ask her what's wrong. Who knew she would faint again. If something happens to her, I'm not able to live Neil."

Abhimanyu's voice broke as he spoke. His heart was beating too fast in anxiousness. Neil could only silently comfort his brother. Hopefully Akshara would be well.

The doctor came put after checking on Akshara and Abhimanyu bombarded her with continuous questions.

"Is Akshara okay? What happened to her? Can I meet her? When will she wake up?"

"Dr. Birla, relax. Akshara is fine for now." Abhimanyu took a huge sigh of relief as the doctor continued.

"She had a panic attack due to stress which is worrying. I would recommend her to take some therapy for stress relief. I would not advise on medication for now, since it might lead to symptoms like over-sleeping and even depression. But if her mental health is constantly getting affected due to stress, we may put her on some medication. Take care of her Dr. Birla. You can meet her, she would probably wake up soon."

Doctor bid them good bye, and Abhimanyu stood still digesting the words of the doctor. Neil shook him a little when he finally came into senses, his eyes welled up.

Without wasting a second, he rushed inside the room. Akshara's complexion was a little pale, and she seemed troubled in her sleep. Her forehead was sweating and she was murmuring incoherent things in her sleep.

Abhimanyu who came inside saw her like this and immediately went to hold her hand.

"Akshu, my love, all is well. I'm here, I'm never leaving you. Don't fear, your Abhimanyu is here. I'll never let you suffer. We'll fight your demons together baby, please just wake up for me"

He laid down next to her as he murmured sweet encouraging words to her, softly caressing her tresses. As if Akshara had something she can lean on, she looked much peaceful and went into deep slumber.

Abhimanyu who was holding her, fell asleep next to her unknowingly. Both holding each other as if they wanted to mould themselves together in their sleep. Both felt the calm in each other's company.

Akshara groaned as she woke up from her slumber. She gasped in pain when she moved her hand. Moving her head she saw she was in a ward and a drip was attached to her hand. She removed the needle, hissing in pain.

What happened? I remember seeing 'her' and then after that she has no memory. Why was she even on a hospital bed. I must have fainted due to my panic attack.

As she moved, Akshara froze hearing a male groan next to her. Then only she realized the weight of an arm on her torso. She saw Abhimanyu sleeping soundly next to her.

She smiled seeing him snoring lightly with his mouth opened a little. Chuckling, with her finger on his chin, she closed his mouth. To her suprise, his mouth opened again on its own.

As if she was playing a game, she tried closing it again and it kept opening again. The game went for a few rounds when her hand was gripped by a stronger one.

Akshara was shocked seeing Abhimanyu's eyes opened and looking at her in amusement. He said in his husky voice.

"Was it fun, Ms. Goenka?"

She sheepishly glanced at him, trying to remove her hand from his.

"Abhi leave na!"

She tried pulling her hand away, but she was pulled towards him with a strong force. He wrapped his arms around her tightly. She was about to get up when she felt him shaking.

"Abhi? What's wrong? Why are you shaking?"

She moved her head to see his face and gasped at the sight. She saw tears in his eyes, eyes that hold her whole world. Somehow she knew it was because of her and she felt guilty.

"I'm okay Abhi, trust me!"

"No! You're not okay Akshu. You literally fainted in front of me. I was fucking scared that something happened to you." Abhi ranted and Akshara rubbed his arms to soothe him.

"I'm really okay na baba. I just saw something that triggered some painful past memories" Akshara sighed.

"I gave you a lot of time, Akshu. But I think it is time to share our deepest fears with each other. I am ready, are you?" Abhi asked seriously.

"Okay" Akshu said
