The little kids tried to free them but are held back Don's Digimon partner Apemon.
Don: (smirk) These two will do well in my collection but for now I should focus on capturing the bigger prize.
Don brought out a photo of both Gammamon and Meicoomon.

Max and Alexis and their Digimon partners Gammamon and Meicoomon are enjoying the day at the park.
Max: This is definitely a relaxing day.
Alexis: You said it but this Kevin and Blackagumon you told us about something tells me that something big is coming.
Max nodded he still remembered the Digimon battle he had against Kevin.
Gammamon and Meicoomon were playing tag with each other and were having fun until Apemon attacks them.

Max then looked for Apemon's and sees Don Zuko walking towards them.

Apemon charges at them but they all dodged before Apemon could hurt them.
Max: Gammamon Time to digivolve!
Alexis: You too Meicoomon!
Gammamon: Gammamon Digivolve to... BetelGammamon!
Meicoomon: Meicoomon Digivolve to... Meicrackmon!
Don: I see so that Digimon is now a ultimate level interesting.

Both BetelGammamon and Meicrackmon charged at Apemon.
BetelGammamon: Sor Blow!
BetelGammamon throws a punch at Apemon but grabs his and slams him to the ground.

Apemon hits BetelGammamon hard in the stomach with his bone club as he was sent straight into the tree.
Max: (worried) BetelGammamon!!
Meicrackmon: (anger) You'll regret that!
Meicrackmon charges at Apemon and punched him in the face and roundhouse kicked him.
Apemon was furious as he charges at Meicrackmon again.
Max rushed to BetelGammamon.
Max: You ok can you still fight?
BetelGammamon gave Max a thumbs up and a smile.
BetelGammamon: Yeah besides I owe him some payback.

BetelGammamon charged at Apemon with his fists in flames and punched the monkey Digimon in the face.
Don was getting annoyed with the boy and girl.

Apemon hardens his metallic body fur and shoots at them. BetelGammamon and Meicrackmon were dodging them but one hit Meicrackmon on her shoulder.
Meicrackmon: Agh!
Don smirked thinking he had won. But BetelGammamon stood in his way as he punches him in the chest.
BetelGammamon: (anger) Stay away from her!
Meicrackmon blushed a little when BetelGammamon saved her.
BetelGammamon: (worried) Are you ok Meicrackmon?
Meicrackmon: (smile) I'm fine thanks to you.
Apemon soon got back up and had an angered look on his face. Apemon charges at the two Digimon.
Alexis: Meicrackmon use Modestly Stun!
Meicrackmon uses her appendages to restrain Apemon and paralyzed him with her tail. BetelGammamon Then punches Apemon in face as he was now knocked unconscious.
Don growls in anger.

Don threw a smoke bomb as both him and his Digimon partner were nowhere to be seen.
Both BetelGammamon and Meicrackmon reverted back to Gammamon and Meicoomon.
Max: I got a bad feeling we'll be seeing him again.
Alexis: I hope so.
Meicoomon then gave Gammamon a kiss on the cheek. Gammamon was blushing like a tomato.
Max and Alexis chuckled at the scene between Gammamon and Meicoomon as they headed home.
