Chapter 99

Harry's Pov.

"Well what is this?" She laughed as I walked her into the gardens with my hands over her eyes.

Last night we ended up staying the night in Maine and having our own little celebration of our engagement, but tonight is her birthday and I wanted everyone to be here for her birthday / our engagement celebration. Except this time, we're at a botanical garden in Rhode Island.

She doesn't know where we are. That was because I made her cover her eyes anytime we passed something that said Rhode Island.

We checked into the hotel and she got dressed but I haven't let her see much since then because I want it to be a surprise. I love surprising her. Like when I showed her the house. And then when I fucking proposed which I had no intention of doing yesterday actually, I was going to do it tonight. I just fell even more in love with her while I watched her look around where our future home is gonna be and I didn't even know it was possible to fall more in love with her. I wasn't lying when I told her she is permanently embedded in my soul.

There's no getting rid of her for me. Even if she were to move on, not fucking happening, but it wouldn't change a thing for me. She's in my system and there is nothing that could rid me of her. There's nothing for me after her. That's why I don't want there to be an after her. So now we're getting married. Still waiting to put a little baby in her though. Not waiting, trying to right now actually but i'm being patient.

Oh, and the last surprise, is that my mum is back. I felt like she should be here for this just as much as Renny's friends. Danielle and Phil are here as well as Edie and his lovely wife who i've only ever gotten to meet one time. I think Edie tried to keep her far away from his work, but now he feels more safe to bring her around. I really like that. He feels more secure and safe in his job now. Fuck, I do too but I really like that he does.

Ty is also here but weirdly enough, said he wasn't bringing Gianna. He wouldn't get into it with me. We'll untangle all of that later on. All of her roommates are here too of course. Even got Audie here.

"Beach?" "No." "Cliff?" She continued guessing as I led this woman who currently can't see. "Sex club?" "That's tonight in our bedroom." "That was last night in our room." "It's a two night event." Her little smile couldn't be hid. "Smug bastard."

Last night was definitely fun. I mean i'm obsessed with this woman. How could a night of her completely naked with me not be fun for me?

I laughed, keeping us walking, looking down at her in her white silk dress. She's got a baby blue bra under it peeking out and she looks like a little bride almost. She will be.

She took a deep sigh and stopped walking.

"Kiss." She moved my hands from her eyes but kept them shut. "Oh, you want a kiss?" I teased and she just slung her little arms around my neck and laid one on me. Even with her eyes closed, she can find me perfectly fine. I'm telling you. We're basically one at this point.
