"Woah...!" MaKaya shook Tesha's shoulder. "Look at this place!"

Tesha opened her eyes. They were outdoors consisting of a never-ending uniquely fashioned forest with convenient terrain attributed to tall trees, bodies of water, and diverse regions. The ambience is coated in a blue mist through and beyond bounds, and a small quiet breeze can be felt breathing over the entire vastness. This place barely provides an active weather cycle for the most part, nor does it have a rhythm for daylight, as the atmosphere remains in a period of darkness and the surroundings are topped by a timeless hazy fog; conditions stay naturally at a habitable and balanced degree, being suitable for life forms to inhabit disregarding the treacherous factors Level 45 acquires. Random doors can be found in areas that are cold. "Oh right, I forgot this is where it leads."

"What do you mean?" MaKaya asked, still awed at this place.

"We're in Level 45: Otherworldly Timberland." Tesha confirmed with a sharp nod, crossing her arms.

"Well, this place doesn't seem so dangerous."

Tesha turned to MaKaya before she could run off. "The landscape in Level 45 has some unstable components and elements that are troubling to consider adjusting; in a sudden, trees can tumble down fiercely if one is not alert enough, trees also carry an abnormal height despite their puny width and a good theory perhaps as to why the trees fall. The wood from these trees are a special sort from typical wood across any level in the Backrooms ignoring anomalous and secret levels. The tree's materials are composed with a softwood similar to pine and varies tints with gray and a pale dingy blue color, additionally involving an abundant amount of blunt splinters but can still and may provoke pain during physical contact with an individual who is touching it."

"Oh..."

"The majority of entities that inhabit this level casually reside in Level 45's caves for most of their time. These include Smilers, Hounds, Death Moths, Clumps, the Hydrolitis Plague, and Tearjerkers. Regardless, multiple level-exclusive entities had been discovered to wander/inhabit the level. These entities are mostly native to the level itself, however, some or even a few are not."

MaKaya kept her attention away from Tesha, her awe turned into slight sadness. "But this place is so beautiful... How is it so dangerous?"

"Well, like I said, a majority of the entities stay inside the caves. There has to be an easy way of- ooh what's that???" She ran off out of nowhere and Tesha quickly lost sight of her.

"Crap!" She quickly looked around, a glowing Strand could be seen between the trees, it was moving quickly, clearly being chased.

"Hey get back here!" MaKaya called out, giggling.

As Tesha tracked the blue Strand with her eyes, she focused on her hearing, as MaKaya's voice echoed throughout the woods making pinpointing her a real challenge.

"Come on, you blue thing!"

Tesha made a bolt into the trees, easily weaving between them without catching the bark. Afterall, there's no way to run in a straight line through the forest. She quickly caught up to the Strand that circled her as MaKaya tackled her to the ground with a hard THUMP!

"Oh thank God!" MaKaya sighed as Tesha woke up. "I thought I accidentally killed you for a minute."

Tesha sat up, rubbing the back of her head. She quickly slapped her hand over her mouth as she felt her stomach churning. She turned to the side and threw up as MaKaya gasped. Her vision was really blurry after that.

MaKaya let out a sharp sigh. "Tesha."

"Hm?" Tesha turned to her while wiping the excess vomit off of her lips and chin.

"How do you feel?"

Tesha was quiet for a moment. "Dizzy... nauseous, and...." She quickly covered her ears and flinched hard. "Ack!"

MaKaya had never looked so worried. "I think you need to rest." She carefully guided Tesha back down to the forest floor.

Tesha kept her head raised due to her back hurting so much. This caused MaKaya to crawl around her and make her rest her head on her lap.

"But what about-..." Tesha pondered for a moment. "The Entities that don't live in the caves?"

MaKaya gestured to the Strand she had found. "It can warn us of any danger."

Tesha was really unsure about this, but MaKaya wasn't exactly giving her a choice in the matter. So, she went back to sleep.

It had probably been roughly two or three days since the accident and nothing very exciting happened. Well, that was about to change. MaKaya saw something out of the corner of her eye, so did the Strand. It made a sort of squealing sound while trying to block the creature's vision of the two girls. Her eyes widened as she carefully picked up Tesha and put her on her back. She turned back to the creature. It appeared to be attached to the roots of the trees and made of said roots. A fireball was launched at them, MaKaya barely dodged the fiery Hell that was thrown at them. She took that as a message to run, so she bolted as fast as she could throughout the forest, the Entity was a lot slower than her. She still took no chances. She dodged and weaved through the increasingly dense forest, occasionally scraping her arms and legs on trees she turned too sharply at while avoiding fireballs being thrown at them. It was amazing how Tesha was still asleep.

She ran deeper and deeper into the forest. Trees constantly fell down at random. The sound of a consistent snapping of tree roots echoed through the beautiful wooded area. She only made the mistake of stopping once and seeing if they were capable of hiding behind the trees. She had grabbed the bark, forgetting what Tesha had said about it, it had proven almost fatal as she barely avoided a fireball. The deeper she ran, she began to feel her throat burning, it was as if she was being choked by something invisible. She took a deep breath and held her breath as she spotted a door. Her legs were burning like a bonfire. Tesha woke up coughing, she placed a hand on her neck but kept her head low. She seemed to quickly adapt to her surroundings. No words were exchanged between the two, MaKaya seemed to be picking up speed as she bullcharged the door.
