Warm wind whips across the mostly deserted beach blowing sand that feels more like glass when it hits your skin.

It's cloudy and overcast, a strong storm on the horizon. The ocean waters are rough, with large white cap waves pounding the beach relentlessly.

Seagulls struggle to fly against the wind that has picked considerably in the past hour looking more like they're frozen in mid air.

The O'ahu beach on Hawaii's north shore is normally packed with people enjoying the gorgeous waters while some of the best surfers in the world ride the waves with perfect balance and performance, but today the place is nearly empty considering how bad the weather is and how dangerous the surf had now become.

There's a red flag whipping in the wind by the tall white lifeguard hut, warning anyone that dare be out right now that the ocean waters are dangerous with riptides that can and will quickly pull you out and under to angery waters.

Standing on the deck of that guard hut stands a tall built blonde with eyes deep crimson in color. The male stands in his red and white swim trunks, red sweatshirt with the title Lifeguard in white letters over a well built form. Arms crossed over his chest, perfect ashy blonde spikes blowing in the wind as he scans the beach for anyone that may be foolish enough to enter the dangerous waters.

He breathes in deeply, the scent of the salty ocean air and a heavy rain storm filling his senses. Katsuki has always loved the smell of the ocean, loved the feel of the sun and sand on his tanned skin. It's what lead him to be a lifeguard to begin with. Plus he enjoyed the sense of adventure of racing across the beach to save some damsel girl or guy in distress, playing the hero who often got the reward in the form of a kiss, a date , or even more if he played his cards right and Katsuki Bakugo knows every card to play.

The door to the white and blue lifeguard hut opens suddenly as a redheaded male in the same attire as the blonde steps out onto the windswept hut deck. He puts his hood up standing next to the blonde raising his voice above the sound of the wind and heavy surf.

" Bro, you see anyone out here man?", Kirishima ask as he looks up and down the beach.

Katsuki shakes his head, crimson eyes still on the water.

" Nope. Crazy that we even have to be out here right now. Anyone stupid enough to try and hit the water in this shit has a God damn death wish, not to mention is stupid as fuck."

The redhead laughs beside him.

" Yeah man, for real. I was just watching the weather forecast looks like it's only gonna get worse as the day goes on, pretty wicked storm coming."

The blonde gazes up at the sky watching the dark gray clouds growing darker and moving in faster with the wind current.

" Tch. I could have told you that. I don't need any shit weather man to tell me about a storm. All you gotta do is watch the sky and the water, they tell you everything you need to know. Even the damn smell in the air changes, it's just paying attention to signs.", the blonde says with a shrug.

Kiri chuckles.

" Yeah yeah alright beach god. You don't have to rub it in all the time about how great you are at all this shit.", he grins.

Katsuki smirks at his friend.

" Yes I do, it's fucking great, just like me."

The redhead rolls his eyes at his always cocky friend with an amused head shake.

" Whatever bro, but hey, speaking of great did you see Jackie Miller checking you out at the bonfire last night? She's pretty hot."

Katsuki shrugs eyes still scanning the area.
