7. Not Kids Anymore

Izuku practically sprung out of bed today. Ever since Katsuki told him he had off and they would spend the day together all day it's all he's been thinking about, even sleep wasn't easy last night as he laid in bed tossing and turning with thoughts on what they might be doing today.

Honestly it doesn't even matter what it is, as long as he's with the guy he's been crushing on since they were teens. He's pretty sure Katsuki feels the same and he's fairy sure the hot blonde lifeguard knows how he feels but they haven't exactly talked about it openly yet.

He scrunches his face as he pulls his tshirt on. Might be time to have that conversation with Katsuki though he thinks. The blonde has so many admirers around that it's starting to make the greenett worry that someone might snatch him away before he gets a chance to confess how he feels even though he's pretty sure he's obvious.

Not too far down the beach that blonde lifeguard is equally happy he has today off to spend with a green-eyed surfer. He's busy putting the finally touches on getting ready when his bathroom door swings open just as he's spraying on his cologne.

" Bakubro! Hey man, let's do something toda...".

The words fall flat as the redhead raises a brow.

" Oh hey .. you got plans man?"

Katsuki's face couldn't scream more annoyed if he tried.

" Are you blind? What the fuck does it look like to you?! And who the hell just barges into someone's bathroom?! Tch. Move, I gotta get ready to go pick up Deku.", the blonde says pushing past his friend.

Kiri smirks.

" Ahh so that's it, got a date with Mido huh? Thought he wasn't feeling good that's why he took off from the party last night?"

He watches his best friend shake his head with a slight look of amusement on his features.

" Nah, he's fine. Was a misunderstanding he got upset over. He thought I was hitting on some chick at the party, thought I wanted to hook up with her, so he took off upset till I tracked him down and explained.".

Kirishima wiggles his brows.

" And just how did you explain huh bro? You finally confess? I mean it's pretty obvious how you both feel."

The blonde shakes his head as he gets up to get his keys.

" Not yet. I mean yeah I guess it's obvious but he just stepped back into my life and he lives in another state so, there's complications to some degree."

" Well yeah maybe so but you'll never work that stuff out if you don't talk about it bro."

Crimson eyes gaze off in thought.

" Yeah, I know. I'll get to it. Anyway I'm out of here, see you later loser.", he smirks as he heads out the door making his friend chuckle as he goes.

" Yeah well better hurry up before summer is over and you miss your chance again loverboy!", the redhead yells from the window making Katsuki raise his middle finger in the air before he climbs in his jeep.

As the blonde drives the short distance to Izuku's summer cottage he knows what his best friend said is true. He's gotta make a move here before summer and his pretty eyed crush get away..again.

While he continues to mull over those thoughts in his mind he's reached his destination already climbing the steps of the beach house when the door swings open before he can knock. ..

" Hi Kacchan! Right on time! I've been waiting for you!", Izuku beams with a smile so big the blonde grins in return with a chuckle.

" Damn, look at you waiting by the door for me to come back just like a good puppy.", the blonde teases reaching up to ruffle green locks hard with a smirk.
