Chapter 16

(Jc's Pov)

"Haven't you done enough?" She whimpers. "Just give me a chance to explain-" I plead, gently grabbing her hand. "Who's here?" Kian says from the other room. I feel myself grow tense as I watch him walk up behind Melody. "Jc? Why the hell are you here?" He mutters. "-to apologize." I shrug, letting go of Melody's hand.

"Well, do it, before I rudely ask you to leave." Melody groans, wiping her eyes. "Look, Melody, I'm so sorry. Lia had given me pictures of you and Kian kissing and what not, to try and frame you two. It worked too, I feel awful about kicking you two out of my life," I begin, earning a death glare from Kian.

If looks could kill, I'd probably be in a ditch, decapitated right now. "Kian, I'm so so sorry, I let this happen, and it tore our friendship apart. Is there any way, you could forgive me, and move back in?" I finish. I examine both of their faces. Melody has a saddened look. Kian has a softened look, still somewhat full of anger.

"I don't think I can, Jc, you broke Melody's heart and ruined our friendship, all because you were stupid enough t-" Kian started, but got interrupted by Melody. "Shut it Kian. You shouldn't have to explain.. Jc, I love you with every fabric of my being, but I donno if I could ever forgive you." She whispers.

I feel a deepening sorrow settling in the pit of my soul. "Please.." I whisper, tears flooding my vision. "J-Justin, I- Just let me think for a little bit.." She chokes out. I nod as a tear decides to slide down my cheek. "I understand.." I sigh turning on my heel and walking back to my car. I feel broken. I blink back tears as I pull back onto the street, and drive away.

(Melody's Pov)

I slowly close the door and slide down the back of it. Kian bends down on one knee and rests a hand on my shoulder. "I'm sorry, Mel. I really am, I hope you know that. Everything will work out in the end.." He consoles. I nod as tears of frustration fill my eyes. "It's just, I'm just, UGHH!!" I groan, a tear slipping down my cheek. "Hey, hey, hey. Calm down." He whispers, wiping the tear that I just shed.

"Kian, you are so fucking awesome." I smile. He smiles weakly and hugs me."Aww, I know I am." He whispers. I roll my eyes and lightly push him off me. "Weirdo." I giggle. "Come on, let's go get some ass cream, ice cream makes everything better!" He shouts, grabbing his keys. "Mhm. Oh yuss! Especially when it's chocolate ass cream.." I say sarcastically.

A/n: Sorry about how short this chapter is. I have writers block for this story right now. I'm gonna put this book on hold until I find more inspiration.
