(Melody's Pov)
I gently press the back of my head into the seat and close my eyes, listening to the gentle hum of the car motor. "I love you." I whisper to Kian, keeping my eyes closed. "I love you too." I hear his gentle voice reply. I smile to myself and lace my fingers with his, our elbows resting on the arm rest between us. "Thank you." He says just loud enough for me to barely hear. I furrow my brows and open my eyes. "Thank me for what?" I ask, completely unaware. "For giving me a chance." He glances at me for a split second, then looks ahead once more. "Don't thank me. I should be thanking you, you made me feel like I was put here for a reason." I explain, squeezing his hand slightly. I smile at him and look out the open window. The fresh scent of summer air fills my nostrils, allowing a wave of tranquility to wash over me.
I close my eyes, as the moonlight relaxes me. I soon find myself drifting into a peaceful sleep.

Melody's grip loosens and I begin to hear soft breathing from her direction. I look at her from my peripheral vision only to find her resting beside me. We're almost home, so I keep quiet. When we pull into the driveway, I gently unclip her seatbelt and place her in my arms, shutting the car door quietly.

My eyes flutter open to reveal myself in bed. I look down to see two heavily tattooed arms wrapped around my waist. There's a calming blue light coming through the window, lighting up the majority of the room. I rest my hand on his arm and lift it to my chest, planting a soft kiss on the back of his hand.

"Thanks for coming, Ricky." I say, waving him off. He nods and climbs into his car. I watch as he drives off, leaving me alone in my thoughts. Walking into my darkened living room, memories flooding my vision. I plop down on the couch, admiring the blackness. A lump begins to fill my throat and tears soften in my ducts. "I miss her." I whisper into the darkness. The digital clock hanging on the wall ahead reads 11:43, I sigh and close my eyes, allowing a tear to fall down my cheek. "Stop." I say aloud, more tears spilling. "Stop it, Justin." I command, wiping the tears away. Do it. I open my eyes, peering around in the darkness, "Who said that? Do what?".
Kill yourself, do it now. The menacing voice fills my ears with its gruffness. I rub my forehead and stand up. "Who's in here? I'll call the police." I threaten. Worthless, weak, scumbag. "Leave me alone." I say sternly. You are alone. Nobody cares anymore. Just do it, you pussy. I clench my jaw and back up, hitting a wall. "Fuck!" I spit, grabbing my shoulder. Let go, do it, do it, finish it, end it, let go. The voice fills my ears. I cower down in the corner, holding my head, tears burning my eyes. "Fuck you!" I scream out. The voice keeps pestering me, I can't stand it anymore. I stand up and move through the darkness and into my bedroom. My body collapses into the cushion of my bed.
I close my eyes and drown out the sounds of the voices. Soon enough, I fall asleep.

A tingling sensation travels throughout my lips, causing me to wake up. I open my eyes and see Melody pull away, smiling up at me. "Hey." She whispers. "Morning. How'd you sleep?"
"I slept well... How did I get back in bed?" She asks.
"I carried you, because I'm just that awesome."
"I have to go make a phone call and get ready for the day. There's some coffee downstairs, by the way." She announces, standing up and disappearing into the hallway. I yawn and stretch out, turning on my side to grab my cellphone. Yes, I'm going on twitter, you don't have to be so curious. I have a pretty normal life, well, what is normal anyway?

I hear an obnoxious vibrating sound coming from my desk, that sets in the corner of my room. Before I stand up and grab my phone, I let out a loud groan. "Hello?" I say groggily into the phone. "Hi, did I wake you up?"
"Oh my god! Is that you?" I ask, wiping the sleep from my eyes.
"Melody? Yes, It is."
"Oh my god, I'm so happy to hear your voice again." I exhale, placing my hand over my heart.
"Yup..." She giggles nervously.
"So, how are you?"
"I'm doing good, thanks. I think I'm ready."
"Hm?" I mumble confused.
"I'm ready to forgive you." She confesses.
"W-what? Is this for real?" I ask excitedly.
"Yes. Can we meet up for coffee?"
"Today?"
"Yeah, like around 10-ish?"
"Of course. It's what, like, nine now?" I estimate.
"9:47, actually." She giggles.
"Oh my god. Okay, I'll be there soon. Wait, where at?"
"The little café we met at."
"Gotcha, okay bye."
"Bye."
I toss my phone aside and scavenge through my closet, searching for something to wear. I let out a sigh of relief when I find an outfit, scrambling to put on jeans and the tee shirt, I trip and fall. Within 15 minutes, I was presentable enough to leave.
