Chapter 26

(Melody's Pov)

After several movie previews and random messages, the theater lights dim and the whole room grows silent. Most of the people watching this movie are sitting near the front, so it's almost like we have the theater to ourselves. About twenty some odd minutes into the movie, I hear quiet giggles from behind Kian and I. I quickly glance behind me, without drawing Kian from the movie (which he seems to be highly interested in...). What I'm faced with makes my stomach flip, and a wave of emotions washes over me. Jc and Lisa are having a little popcorn war behind us. I sigh, roll my eyes, and face forward, only to be hit in the head with a piece moments after. I stand up and turn around, glaring at them. Apparently they didn't notice, because they still continued to toss popcorn at each other. "Would you guys please... knock it off!?" I whisper shout at them, causing Lisa to jump and Jc to drop their bucket of popcorn all over the floor.

Jc looks at me confused, along with his date. After a few seconds, I feel a hand wrap around my wrist. I look down at Kian and he shakes his head, standing up, he leads me out of the theater and into the food court. "What is going on?" He asks slightly annoyed. "Those annoying little shits." I mutter. "What?" Kian asks.

"I said, they are."

"Melody, you need to chill."

"How can you expect me to chill, when the man I love-" I blurt. Kian's look of annoyance morphs into a pained expression. His eyes dance back and forth between mine before he turns around and walks away. What have I done?

(Kian's Pov)

I walk off with tears brimming my eyes. I never cry, why am I crying? Deep down I knew this would never  work. I walk into the men's bathroom and find a stall. I shut the door and slide down the back of it, running my fingers through my hair. I feel the first tear escape my duct and trail down my cheek . A realization of what's going on finally hits me, drawing me to slam my head against the back of the door repeatedly.

A/n: Well damn.... looks like I just screwed you over. Looks like you'll have to wait till next chapter to figure out what's gonna happen between everybody. Sorry this chapter is sooooo short, it has to be short to keep you wanting more! Sorry if that irritates you.
