Present Day, Narnia

SOONER THAN LATER, a grumpy Eustace would've waken up and wondered why no one was at the beach anymore, save for Verzimir who was still sleeping soundly. So when he finally emerged from the plants grumbling to himself, all heads turned to his direction.

     "It's the pig!"

     "The pig has come back."

Eustace stopped in his tracks, mouth agape at the scene before him. "This place just gets weirder and weirder."

     "Weird?"

     "Him calling us weird?"

Jamie shook her head to herself, turning to her left where Lucy came into view with an old man dressed in long robes walking ahead of her. The queen assumed they had come from the large mansion, where Lucy had supposedly been in her absence. "The Oppressor!"

"Oppressor!" The creatures exclaimed, hopping around with their large feet.

"Lucy!" Edmund's expression finally relaxed upon seeing that his little sister was not hurt. Lucy shot him back a smile in return.

"Thank Aslan you're safe." Jamie let out a breath, embracing the girl.

The older man in robes held a hand to his chest, and bowed slightly. "Your majesty."

"Caspian, Edmund," Lucy introduced, "and Jamie. This is Coriakin. It's his island." The three bowed to the man, whose name was Coriakin, in acknowledgement as a response.

"That's what he thinks." One of the creatures spoke up. "You have wronged us, magician."

"I have not wronged you." Coriakin stepped forward towards them, making them hop backwards to distance themselves from the old man. "I made you invisible for your own protection."

     "Protection?" One echoed mockingly.

     "That's oppressive!"

     "Oppressor!"

"I have not oppressed you." Countered Coriakin.

"But you could've, if you'd wanted to." Their Chief insisted.

"Begone!" Coriakin threw to them what seemed to be lint, making them panic that it was a spell as they hopped away and far.

     "What was that?" Asked Lucy.

Coriakin turned to her. "Lint. But don't tell them."

Jamie watched them, narrowing her eyes at the little nasty ones. She figured they might've had a good cause doing what they did, but it still didn't take away the fact that they practically kidnapped Lucy and almost killed them. "What were those things?" She asked.
