Cancer ran through the hallway and jumped onto his best friend and roommate Scorpio. Scorpio stood stunned with his jam toast halfway in his mouth and he put his arm around the crab. "Darling best friend of mine" Cancer said in a sing-song voice and Scorpio groaned as he realized Cancer wanted something. "Ya?" He asked as he finished his toast and sat down. "Well you know that tiny little totally not real crush on Taurus?" Cancer asked and Scorpio nodded "Well it's real and I don't know what to do" Cancer said as he dramatically flung himself onto the couch. "About time" Scorpio said as he sat down next to Cancer "I can set you up" Scorpio said and Cancer lifted his head from the couch cushion. "You would do that for me?" he asked and Scorpio looked at him with a smile "No I want to go on a date with her, what do you think dumbass?" he said and Cancer grinned at him. Scorpio picked up his phone and called Taurus and asked her to come over that night "Yeah we're having a movie night, we're ordering pizza and everything, you down?" Scorpio asked through the phone and Cancer smiled when he heard Taurus's excited voice through the phone. "How much do I owe you?" Cancer asked and Scorpio raised an eyebrow and smiled "Just a beer" he replied and walked out of the room. Cancer waited nervously for Taurus to arrive and Scorpio began to choose a movie he thought would suit the situation. "Ay this one's about two best friends falling in love, if I put this on she'll be thinking about it" Scorpio said as he held a movie disk. A knock at the door awoke Cancer from his daydreams and he stood up and practically flew to the door. Taurus stood smiling in the doorway and Cancer felt his cheeks turn red when he saw her. "Ay we were just about to order the pizza" Scorpio yelled from the kitchen. Taurus hugged Cancer for what felt like years, Cancer caught Scorpio's eye and smiled nervously. Scorpio put on the movie and they sat and watched it for fifteen minutes before Scorpio's phone rang. He paused the movie and winked at Cancer. "Ay Aries what's up, really now? Fine I'll be over in ten" Taurus heard Scorpio say from where he was in the kitchen. "Sorry guys I got to run, Aries needs some help avoiding my psycho sister" Scorpio said as he grabbed the car keys, he turned back to them with a large smile "Have fun and save me some pizza." Then he turned and walked out the door leaving Cancer and Taurus on the couch. They proceeded to watch the movie in silence and then eat their pizza in silence, the entire time Cancer was planning what to say and when to say his feelings. "Hey Taurus can we talk?" he asked nervously and the bull looked at him with a smile "Sure, what is it?" Cancer took a deep breath and then began to speak "You know how in the movie the boy liked the girl who was his best friend and he was to scared to tell her?" Taurus raised an eyebrow and felt her cheeks turn red as she realized what was going on. "Well I like you more than my best friend" Cancer mumbled and Taurus stood up and launched herself onto Cancer. "So do I!" she shrieked and hugged him. Taurus felt consumed by her joy and she pressed her lips against Cancer's. The kiss was long and sweet and they held hands as they kissed. Cancer eventually broke off the kiss and Taurus looked a bit upset. "Oi some people need to breath" Cancer said and Taurus began to roar with laughter. Cancer looked at her and then began to laugh himself. "Taurus will you please be my girlfriend?" he asked and Taurus jumped on him again as she screamed "yes yes yes!" and she pressed her lips against Cancer's again. "Another movie?" Taurus asked and Cancer smiled as they chose one. Once Taurus put the movie on and Cancer had come back with bowls of ice cream they then cuddled up to each other as they watched the scariest movie they could find in Scorpio's collection.  

Scorpio returned hours later from where he 'helped' Aries play video games. He walked in and saw the new couple asleep on the couch as a horror movie played on the TV. He smiled and put a blanket over the two and then made a mental note to make Cancer buy more ice cream. Taurus smiled when she saw Scorpio place the blanket over them and she asked quietly as to not wake up Cancer "Aries didn't need help did he?" Scorpio smiled and shook his head before leaving the room. Taurus smiled and then kissed the sleeping Cancer's cheek, she would have to properly thank Scorpio later. And she would have to thank Cancer for confessing first because she was to scared, she decided she was going to thank him with a date the next day and she fell asleep thinking of what they would be doing.
