SIX YEARS LATER

Greens, Blues, and Golds, the most common colors born from the I.A.A.N. disease, had found a semblance of safety within the confines of Veridale, an airforce base. They were the fortunate ones, allowed to reside in cabins rather than cramped barracks. The Veridale medical team had classified these colors as relatively harmless, allowing them a measure of freedom within the camp.

Among them, Greens found themselves laboring tirelessly in the Factory, a massive structure that loomed ominously on the far east side of the camp. Their task was to manufacture uniforms for the soldiers stationed at the base. Blues, on the other hand, were bestowed with a higher privilege—the choice to either train their powers or work in the Gardens.

However, amidst this relative calm, two colors were treated with an entirely different level of scrutiny and fear: Reds and Oranges. These individuals were exceedingly rare, and their abilities made them profoundly dangerous.

Reds possessed the power to manipulate fire, an element capable of untold destruction. Those unfortunate enough to be identified as Reds were immediately placed in solitary confinement under heavy control. The Veridale authorities recognized the imminent threat they posed to the camp's fragile stability. The Reds harbored a deep desire to unleash their fiery powers for chaos and destruction, making it imperative to remove them from Veridale. The fate of these individuals remained shrouded in uncertainty, with the grim possibilities ranging from execution to their deployment as weapons of mass destruction.

Oranges were equally rare and feared, as they possessed the power of mind control. Any Orange discovered within the camp was subjected to relentless surveillance and control measures, 24/7. Their every move was scrutinized, given their potential to manipulate and subvert the minds of those around them.

Then there were the Purples, the rarest and most enigmatic of all the colors. These individuals were gifted with an extraordinary range of abilities, encompassing those of Greens, Blues, Yellows, Reds, and Oranges. However, their powers were not only extensive but also more advanced. The probability of encountering a Purple in the psionic universe was an astonishing one in a thousand, and their true potential remained a mystery.

In the challenging and oppressive environment, Trinity's powers had gradually emerged. At first, she had panicked, fearing the consequences of her unique abilities. However, fate intervened, leading two fellow campers, Yuta and Jaehyun, to discover her secret. They had sworn an unbreakable pact of secrecy, forming a tight-knit trio that would go to great lengths to protect Trinity and help her harness her powers. Together, they had devised methods to control and unlock different levels of her abilities, forging an unbreakable bond amidst the desolation of Veridale.

As the years passed, the confines of the camp grew more stifling, with each day blending into the next. Happiness at Veridale came at a steep cost, but Trinity found solace in the enduring friendship of Yuta and Jaehyun.
