You'd asked F.R.I.D.A.Y what the occasion of you meeting Thor was and it turns out that Tony was throwing a party. It wasn't anyone's birthday, because Tony didn't need a reason to throw a party.

You grabbed some leggings and a sports bra from your draws and then you met Nat in the gym to get some training in before the party.

"Hiya Nat" you said entering the training room.

"Hi y/n! The teams decided to do hand to hand combat today so we're all gonna be fighting against one other person" She explained.

"Ooh fun!" You chuckled.

"That's what you think until you find out who you're partnered with" grinned Clint who pointed behind you.

You spun around and found yourself face to face with none other than Bucky Barnes.

He smirked at you "Hello doll"

"Oh for god's sake" you sighed as everyone else burst out laughing at the exasperated look on your face and the grinning look on Barnes'.

You and Bucky were the last to fight;
•Nat won against Steve
•Clint won against Sam
•Wanda won against Tony
You watched each fight eagerly, waiting for your fight against Bucky and when the time finally came Bucky whispered in your ear "You ready?"

You stepped onto the mat and got into stance as Bucky faced you and did the same.

"3 2 1 Fight" Tony declared.

You waited for Bucky to make the first move. You knew his fighting pattern, he always made the first move. He suddenly lurched forward and tried to swing at you. One of the reasons you were on the avengers was that you not only were a great fighter but you used your brain to memorise how people fought and what their moves were. That's why you were able to quickly duck and grab Bucky's arm to flip him over.

"Shit" he breathed as he got back up in his feet.

"Round two James" you raised you eyebrow at him with a smirk on your face.

"Oh you know it"

After many rounds of the both of you ending up hitting the ground you finally had Bucky's real arm twisted with your knee in his back, that was until he flipped you over and landed on top of you.

"Fucks sake" you tapped out knowing you couldn't get out of this situation.

Only Bucky waited a little bit longer before he let you go, keeping eye contact until he realised the awkward position that you were both in. With that he coughed and got up, not bothering to help you up.

"I'll batter you one day James"

"As if,  1) that would mean I'd have to fight you again, 2) you'd only lose again"

" AND DON'T CALL ME JAMES" He shouted as he walked out the training room.
