Bucky x Y/N - Enemies To Lovers

~Thirteen~

Just as you were stepping out of the shower you heard a knock at your door. You shouted for whoever was there to hold on as you quickly rushed to wrap a towel around yourself.

You open the door and Bucky was stood there whit his hands in his pockets, looking at the floor.

"Oh, hiya. You alright?" You asked slightly confused as to why he was here.

He looked up and then quickly turned pink at the sight of you in your towel. "Oh sorry I didn't realise you were um" he gestured towards you obviously getting flustered. "I can come back later"

"Is it important?"

"Well, might be to you" he replied.

"Gimme two seconds - wait there" you said as you shut the door. You grabbed some shorts and a baggy t-shirt to throw on and chucked your towel on the radiator in the bathroom.

You opened the door again to be greeted by his face again. "Come in" you turned your back and sat on your chair that was placed near your desk.

He followed you inside and shut the door gently behind him, he sort of hovered for a couple seconds until you realised he'd never actually been in your room.

"You can sit down on the bed, it's fine"

"Oh, right, um thanks" he said sitting down so the two of you were facing each other.

"I just wanted to let you know, I didn't tell Steve what you and I talked about last night. I saw you when I was talking to him and I don't know if you were but I don't want to make you anxious or regret telling me"

You smiled slightly at the considerate thought.

"I'm not going to breath a word to anyone and I just want to reassure you of that. You have nothing to worry about."

"Thank you Bucky. I don't regret telling you, it felt good to talk to someone...who I can trust"

"Really?"

"Yeah, you may be a pain but I always figured you'd be the trustworthy type"

"Always?"

"From the minute I saw you"

"Thank you" he said with a genuine smile "I leave you to do whatever now, I'm heading down to the gym"

He got up and walked towards the door and you felt a weird sensation in your stomach...
