Sharyn’s POV
I usually play golf during my ‘me time’ or ride the horse on our farm. But I couldn't go home now due to a hectic schedule, so I decided to just do indoor golf.
I couldn’t just afford to only try on one school because what if I failed?
“Hey, Sharyn.” Kumaway sa akin ang matipunong lalaki. I remembered he’s Kuya Hendriel dahil madalas siya ang kausap ni Daddy tungkol sa business.
“Hi, Kuya.” Masiglang bati ko sa kanya. “I was about to call your office kaso nakita na kita. We need some wine for our party tomorrow. Kaya ba?”
“What kind of wine?”
“We prefer sparkling wines and white wines,” he responded. “Ikaw na ang bahala. We trust you naman when it comes to wines.”
“Sure, Kuya. I will check our supply and then call you later.”
“Okay.” I smiled at them.
I opened the music player on the side and connected my phone.
I listened to my favorite band, Paramore, while playing. It kept me focused all throughout.
I think I need to go to the gym. River is a member of an elite gym, sasama na lang siguro ako sa kanya.
I took a shower then changed into my peach dress. Luckily, there’s a blow dryer dahil naiwan ko sa bahay ang sa akin. After putting a bandana on my long hair, I left the room and signed something in the reception area.
Saktong paglabas ko ay may nabunggo ako. He was wearing a white Ralph Lauren cap and a white cloth face mask. I wasn’t the one paying attention kaya agad akong nag-sorry dahil nasa tamang daan naman siya, iyong entrance door kasi nabuksan ko.
“Sorry,” sabi ko.
“Yeah. We’re good.” Mabilis na sabi niya, nagmamadali. His voice was husky like he just woke up or was it natural?
“Hunter, dude.
He’s Hunter? Hunter, as in frat leader ni River?
We will also bid him farewell because he’s going to the Olympics.
