"Gibbons, yes, please tell the entire staff to get everything ready for tonight," The Dowager Queen spoke as she watched her faithful servant do her bidding.

'Sire, your mother is back', Keegan mind-linked The King. 'It looks like she's preparing for some kind of party,"

'She what?' Killian mind-linked back as he grabbed onto my arm without saying a word. 'I just sent her off not three days ago,'

"What's wrong?" I asked Killian as I laid down the pair of white shoes I had been looking at.

"My Mother is back, and it seems that she is preparing for a party. I apologize my love but we need to go, I can not and will not tolerate her doing this," His pleading crystal blue eyes looked like orbs holding in the bluest of seas that were controlling everything not to wage war.

"Do we know about what kind of party?" I asked forcing a smile. "Maybe it will be a good distraction from the upcoming ceremonies, fittings, and everything else,"

"No, I know my mother, she doesn't do anything without a meaning behind it, she is up to something," Killian answered as he scrunched his eyebrows together while he opened the door of the boutique.

"Well, I'll give her the benefit of the doubt and enjoy whatever party she has going on," I faintly chuckled as I headed into the limo.

'Keegan, do you have any idea what kind of party this is?' Killian mind-linked his delta as we headed back to the castle.

'No Sire, but I'll follow her around,' Keegan mind-linked back as he found his aunt in the kitchen.

"Ah, nephew there you are," The Queen Mother proclaimed as she left the Italian cook's side.

"Yes, Aunt Constance, how may I be of service?" Keegan bowed his head slightly.

"You used to be so loyal, dear nephew," Constance held up her hand and cupped her nephew's stubbled cheek. "That is until my boy ascended the throne, and made you his delta, now you will only be loyal to him,"

"Why should I not Aunt Constance?" Keegan questioned as he pushed back his blonde hair. "My cousin is my King,"

"You should shave that face, nephew, and get ready for the festivities tonight," The Dowager Queen announced as she moved toward the sitting room.

"What kind of gathering are you preparing for today?" Keegan inquired as he followed closely behind his aunt.

"Hurry now, go shave and change, the guests shall be arriving soon," Constance said as she took the bouquet of sunflowers and roses and placed them into a large blue vase.

"Mother, what are you doing?" The King roared as he threw the doors open to the mansion.

"Ahh, son, there you are, I have procured Master Emiliano Monet and his cousin Mistress Bernadette Romano to dress you and your low-born mate," The Queen Mother raised her hands clapping her hands to reveal two raven-haired people coming out of the shadows. "And there she is, go with Mistress Romano she will dress you for the party, I do hope she can do something with you,"

"So, you're The King's mate?" The coal black-haired woman rang out as she sat me in front of a vanity. Her black eyes were almond-shaped and hidden under smoky eyeshadow. "You look pretty plain, no matter I'll have you looking ravishing," Bernadette turned down the corners of her mouth as she stared at me through the mirror. "I am Italian and French, and so is my cousin, we are the best of both worlds,"

"Do you know what's going on?" I asked as she began brushing my curly golden hair.

"A party," The Mistress rubbed her dark red lips together as she kept brushing my hair. As we could hear the beginnings of a reception downstairs, Mistress Bernadette slipped me into a slim-fitting cream-colored dress and placed the last crystal bobby pin in my updo. I was quickly ushered out where I was met with the love of my life dressed in a dark gray suit. His blonde hair had been pushed back with gel and his scent of wood and mint seemed to be more intense. He grabbed my hand as he led me down the stairs to a room filled with unfamiliar faces.
