You couldn't remember the last time you had been inside this house. This very house in which you had grown up, had been trained like a dog, to bark, to bite.

The sight was enough to make your skin crawl and your stomach turn. But it wasn't just the house. It was the memory of that old man, his grin, the way he was with you.

Never before nor after his passing had you met someone who was just so close to a monster as him. Or a psychopath. Either way, he was everything terrible and even more.

Was, thank the heavens above and hell below.

But one advantage that the new Sin Nombre had against you was that you did not know if she was able to be worse than him.

"Ready?", you took a deep breath before glancing over to Rodolfo.

His hands were tied, he had shed his army attire for some jeans and a simple shirt.

With a low sound of annoyance he slightly nodded his head before he let you push him towards the gates and started to yell insults and curses in Spanish.

"Calm down, cabrón!", you yelled and gave him a gentle slap to the back of his head to make it look legit.

It didn't take long for the narcos that stood watch to come buzzing around you. With their guns raised, they called out for you to freeze.

You did as they said, but decided to take some risks and have fun with the situation.

"Who do you think you are, idiotas?!", you bared your teeth and gifted them your darkest glare. "Don't you know who I am, eh?! I was send for! And I've got a gift."

With bloody murder on their faces they circled around you.

"Get out of here as long as you can!", one yelled.

You just huffed.

"Tell em' I have arrived.", you simply replied, not impressed by their attitudes. "I brought someone to lighten the mood as well. Rodolfo Para."

As his name echoed into the sky, a few men seemed to hesitantly lower their weapons to eye you closer for the first time. Judging by the look on their faces and the shadows in their eyes they seemed to try and recognise you.

"Is it?", one whispered to another. "Orders from Sin Nombre..."

"Shut up!", a voice suddenly tore the tense atmosphere apart.

Your limbs grew goosebumps. But your face did not change as you glanced into the direction.

A woman with dark hair appeared. She wore her attitude on her face and a chain around her neck. It was visibly that she had military experience, not just by the clothes she wore but also because of that look in her eyes.

It was the same look that Alejandro had as well. Just more cocky, less honest.

As your gazes met a broad smile appeared on her face. As if she greeted a long lost family member she spread her arms to offer a hug.

For a moment you stared at her cold.

Then you walked towards her to accept. With all your strength you pulled her into your arms and squeezed her against your chest. So hard that she chuckled in a passive aggressive manner.

"Easy, my old friend.", she patted your shoulder as you let her go. "I know you've missed me but we weren't in love. Don't get too touchy."

You returned the smile, just as fake as hers, but perhaps less hateful. It was more of a heavy hearted one.

"It has been a long time.", you took a step back to examine her from top to bottom just to check if she was still the same woman from your memory. "Valeria."

Crossing her arms in front of her chest, Valeria raised her chin in her usual confident attitude and looked you up and down as well.

"Not long enough for you, no?", she showed you her pearly white teeth once more. "You ran long from me. Even killed some of my trusted men."

"And yet I'm here, no? Don't be resentful towards me, hermana. I brought a gift to make it up.", you gestured towards Rudi who was kept hostage by the guards.

She tilted her head. Even though nothing drastically changed on her face, you were able to tell that a thought crossed her mind. She was satisfied. Maybe even a bit impressed.

"You went all out.", she said and gestured for one of the guards to push Rudi towards her.

He played along, even tried to resist a little bit. But as he faced her he seemed to get uncomfortable. More than he already was.

"Who is this puta?", he asked with bared teeth.

Valeria huffed.

"You didn't tell him?", she asked with a glance into your direction.

"Hurt your pride?", you returned the question. "I didn't want to give it away. For your protection."

One of her eyebrows rose. Her vanity came out.

"I don't need protection, my dear. Not anymore."

Your eyes locked. Both of you stared each other down. No one wanted to give in. But you knew it wasn't smart to irritate her. You were at her mercy.

And Rodolfo's life was on the line as well.

So you closed your eyes and took a deep breath.

"I never wanted to disrespect you.", you said. "But you disrespected me for a long time now. I'd like to settle it. Without violence, if possible."

Now she couldn't help but laugh. The sound echoed down the streets, bounced of the mountain tops and back to crawl down your neck.

"You and no violence?", Valeria couldn't stop laughing. "I didn't expect to ever hear those words out of your mouth. Ha! Sin Rosto wants to be not violent. Dijos mios!"

As soon as your title crossed her lips the atmosphere around shifted. You knew that she had only mentioned it to alarm her people of how serious this situation was.

Immediately, eyes were all over you. It felt like they dug into your flesh like daggers.

Yet it also brought back to familiar feeling. Like adrenaline that made your blood rush through your veins.

It was like a boost of confidence. Like superiority.

"Yes.", an aggressive smile tugged at your lips. "No violence. Unless you force me to. Sin Nombre. Mi hermana."
