"Olivia?" Calvin asked from outside the closed door. Olivia brushed a few tears from her cheeks before slowly unlocking the door. She opened it and stared at Calvin in silence.
The little boy eyed her for a moment, before stepping forward and moving his arms around her waist.
"Liv, I'm so glad you opened the door," He mumbled, his face buried in her shirt. Olivia hesitantly wrapped her arms around his small body and rubbed his back.
"Calvin, what are you doing here?" Olivia breathed. She didn't know how to approach this situation at all. Calvin hated her just months ago, and now he was hugging her as if nothing had happened.
"Can I stay with you?" Calvin asked, as he looked up at Olivia with tear-filled eyes. Olivia went to respond, but stopped when Rafael came out of their bedroom. He stared at the embrace in front of him, before scrubbing a hand down his face.
"Where is your mother?" Rafael asked.
"Rafael-"
"No, Calvin. Where is your mother? You made some big show of wanting her, then you two skip town the day after she gets released. Olivia could have gotten in trouble for what you and Vivian did," Rafael huffed.
Calvin slowly stepped away from Olivia before swallowing hard. He grabbed the straps of his backpack and tightened them around his shoulders.
"Mom got arrested again. This time it was for stealing her boyfriend's car while I was sleeping in the back of it. I knew that I'd be put into foster care if I didn't come back home... So here I am," Calvin said.
Olivia and Rafael exchanged glances before Olivia sighed deeply.
"You can stay here for now, but I'll have to make some calls."
"Liv, you still have custody of me, right?" Calvin exclaimed, as he quickly stepped towards her again.
"It was part of your mother's release agreement... But it's been months since I've seen you. Tiffany Owens needs to be contacted, and so does a judge. There are many moving parts to this, and I can't just keep you again. Let me get you a pillow and some blankets. You'll have to sleep on the couch," Olivia replied.
"The couch? Liv, what about my room?" Calvin asked, his eyes growing wide. He never expected for Olivia to just take apart his room. He thought she'd keep it exactly the same, especially since everyone predicted Vivian would fuck up and he'd be on his way back to Olivia in no time.
Rafael walked to Olivia and wrapped his arm around her before letting his hand smooth down her blouse around her midsection.
"We are using your old room as a nursery for the baby when they come."

Calvin was in shock to find out that Olivia and Rafael were having a baby. He felt jealous, especially since now Olivia wouldn't be focused on him completely. There would be a baby eventually, and he was wondering if Olivia would even want him there for more than a few nights.
Just like many months before, Olivia brought Calvin to the precinct for her shift. She was earlier than usual and was able to get Calvin into her office without anyone noticing right away.
"Have you been doing your schoolwork?" Olivia questioned. She had signed Calvin up for another year of online classes, but she didn't know if he had internet wherever he and Vivian landed.
Calvin sat down on the sofa and shook his head.
"Mom sold the laptop," He admitted. Olivia wanted to start bitching Calvin out, but she restrained and moved to her desk.
"I'll make sure to tell Tiffany that you haven't been in school since you left."
Olivia went about her usual morning activities before leaving to get coffee. Calvin followed her closely and accepted a bottle of water when offered to him.
"Why are you having a baby?" Calvin questioned. Olivia turned around and took a sip from her mug before speaking to the little boy that hadn't wanted to be her son.
"I wanted to be a mother, and Rafael wanted to be a father. So we decided to try for a baby, and here we are. I'm due in August," Olivia replied.
"What about me?" Calvin said, his eyebrows knitted together.
"What about you?"
"Liv, weren't you going to wait for me? You love me and want to adopt me!"
"Yeah, but you didn't want that! You put me through hell when you ran away to your grandparents, then skipped town with your mother! I gave up so much for you, just to be treated like shit in the end. Did you really expect to put my life on hold so that I am at your disposal when you need me?!" Olivia yelled.
Calvin looked at her, his face red with anger and his hands balled up into fists.
"I hate you," Calvin huffed.
"Ditto, babe," Olivia spat. Calvin lunged at Olivia, but was stopped the moment Fin walked into the squadroom and wrapped an arm around his waist.
"This will not end well for you if you attack her, Calvin."

Olivia stood outside of the interrogation room that Calvin was cooling off in. Tiffany Owens had been called along with Casey. They were both going to come down and discuss what they could do next.
"Hey, so I got here as fast as I could. What's happening?" Casey questioned as she walked into the observation room. Olivia turned to face her friend before pointing through the window.
"Look who came back."
Casey was at a loss for words as she stared at the small boy that put Olivia through hell.
"When did he come back?"
"Last night while Rafael and I were about to celebrate my birthday once again. He hugged me and acted all excited to see me, but then he wasn't happy when we told him he'd have to sleep on the couch. He also tried to attack me this morning, but Fin was able to stop him," Olivia replied. Casey let out a slow breath before gently touching Olivia's back.
"Did you tell him you missed him?" Casey whispered. Olivia shook her head quickly and blinked away tears.
"No, and I never will. I miss the old Calvin that didn't hate me, because this one is a little jerk that wants to use me again."
