Taehyung nodded goodbye at Minho as he headed out of the acting studio. They had started going over the lines of the script and the stress had been steadily building for him. When he had first been cast in Hwarang, he had been so excited. His first drama! But oh my God, the stress was just too much.

The first time that he had been handed the script, he was so excited. Now, he cringed looking at the thick stack of papers. There was so much to memorize! How was he supposed to keep up with everything?

What's worse was that his work with BTS wasn't slowing down either. He wanted to ask how he was supposed to juggle both things at once, but he didn't know how he was supposed to frame the question.

Instead, he threw Minho a final smile. If he could juggle his work with SHINee and make things work, then who was Taehyung to complain?

He was not looking forward to dance practice.

"Did you not learn this part yet?"

Taehyung shrugged. The dance teacher looked exasperated. He could see the hint of frustration in her eyes. Guilt flooded through Taehyung's veins.

"I'm sorry, I must have been away that day," he said.

"For the drama?"

"Yeah."

"That's okay." She nodded slowly. "I'm sorry. There is no way that you would know it then. I'm willing to stay late to teach it to you."

Taehyung sagged in relief. "Sure."

"You have to learn quickly though," she added.

"I will," Taehyung said.

The others glanced at him curiously. Taehyung hadn't bothered to tell them about how much he had been struggling either. They would only sit down and worry. He hated when they did that. The atmosphere would be all strained and upsetting, making Taehyung get even more frustrated.

"I can help too if you want," Jimin said kindly.

"It's okay." Taehyung flashed him a small smile. He was sprinkling these fake smiles to everyone who cared about him.

Then it started. The long drama practices would be followed by even longer dance practices. He would have to catch up on all the work that the others had done during the day. There would be so many details that he needed to pick out in so much shorter of a time frame.

What's worse were the vocal practices. Songs always took longer for him to learn. Sometimes, his voice would just refuse to cooperate and he would get everything wrong.

The only option that Taehyung saw out of this was to practice harder and longer every day. He would have to put in more work if he wanted to succeed at everything.

Taehyung sighed. He blinked at the clock. It must have been past two in the morning. He was still in the dance studio. There was a part of the chorus that he still couldn't get right. It was fast, and he kept glitching and forgetting the moves.

With a sigh, he turned the music on again. When he got to the tricky spot, he froze again. Taehyung sighed again. This process was so repetitive and annoying. It was much more fun learning with the others, when they could all cheer each other on.

"Ugh," he mumbled.

The script was still sitting in his bag. There wasn't any energy left in him to actually go through it. He had to memorize those lines, learn all the action scenes, he knew, it was a lot of work, but he just couldn't do it.
