"Do you know what kind of an idiot you are?" Yoongi screamed.
Jin flinched. His hands automatically went up to cover his ears. Watching this, Taehyung felt terrible. Seeing Jin look scared was upsetting.
"What did I do?" Jin asked in a small voice. "No, I-"
"Just..." Yoongi took a deep breath, trying to calm himself. "Just... be quiet. You're too... yeah..."
Jin only looked more confused and hurt. This wasn't the first time Yoongi had lashed out at him. It was always about something minor. Today it was because he had accidentally unplugged Yoongi's laptop in the night. He wasn't stupid. He knew that Yoongi was mad because he had been distracted. He knew the others were too. They just didn't show it openly.
"I'm sorry," Jin said.
"I know you are."
"Okay, that's enough," Taehyung broke in. "I'm tired of this. We're all okay, Yoongi. I know what you're actually mad about. None of us ended up with anything too severe. We're all okay."
"You literally limp everywhere you go," Yoongi said.
"So?"
"I'm just saying." Yoongi sighed. He seemed to have forgotten about his laptop and started talking about the accident instead. Jin got pale. "Jimin told me that he asked. He asked him if he was tired! And he still said no!"
"Just let it go, please," Taehyung said. "I was annoyed too. I still am. But there is no point in yelling and screaming."
"Stop," Jin mumbled.
"Stop what?"
"Stop talking about it."
"Very easy for you to say, isn't it?" Yoongi asked. "Do you know how scared I am of getting in a car now, thanks to you?"
"I'm scared too," Taehyung said. "All of us are."
"I'm sorry," Jin said. "I'm very sorry."
"If it wasn't for you..." Yoongi sighed and shook his head. "You're right Taehyung. There's no point in thinking about anything anymore."

When he and Yoongi left for Daegu again, the only thing that he remembered about Jin was how sad he had looked. Upset. Guilty. Scared.
The one person who could calm everything down was Namjoon. He knew how to rationally analyze a situation.
If only Taehyung could learn those skills.

"Hyung, I can take you there if you want," Taehyung said.
"Huh?" Jin frowned. He shook his head. "No, Taehyung no."
Exactly a week after Yoongi left, Jin decided that he wanted to go see his family. It was a short train ride out of Seoul, and there was no doubt that Jin would be fine, but Taehyung had a nagging worry at the back of his mind. Jin was so forgetful. Anybody could do anything to him and it would take him a while to understand what was going on...
It didn't help that the others were so hesitant. Or that Jin was so against the idea of him accompanying him. But really, the whole reason that Taehyung wanted to go was so he could talk. More than anything, he did care about Jin.
"It's not a big deal hyung," Taehyung said. "Let me go with you. We can sit together."
Jin shook his head. "No."
