Y/N's P.O.V
We just finished setting up Tiger's room with decorations, we got snacks, party tricks, lots of pillows and blankets, and even a disco ball which Tiger found in the attic!
"Just a little touch," Tiger said almost tiptoeing on a ladder to place the disco ball.
"Ti-Ti, you are too short." I giggled as I hold the ladder. His face went pink, "Oh shut up, at least I'm taller than you, and I can live with that."
"Hey!" I grumbled not happy to be reminded of my shortness. (A/N: Yes. The reader is short - really sorry if you're tall, just pretend you're short - for a while, and I did this because I am short too. 😭) "Unless you want me to let go of this ladder and let you tumble down the steps like Jack and Jil down the hill." I threatened and let the threat waver in the silence.
"You wouldn't," Tiger sounded as though he was reassuring himself more than he was to me.
I grinned, "I would,"
"You wouldn't," he said with a sure tone now as he tiptoed higher to place the disco ball.
"If you want me to, then I will!" I replied confidently.
He shook his head, the room echoed with his magical laughs that added a beat to my heart. "Of course, I wouldn't want you to. Mind holding the ladder a bit steadier? Just one sec . . ."
Time slowed down as I watched, with my hawk-like eyes, Tiger crashing down because I didn't maybe purposely steady the ladder. And he just had to fall - on me.
"Oof!" Tiger said as we tangled up in a bunch of arms and legs. "Sorry!" he apologized, blushing profusely, his face was probably as red as his hair - and comparing that colour on his face to the colour on my face was nothing, my face was redder than his hair, in fact, I was blushing so madly it was like someone had painted my face.
As we desperately tried to untangle ourselves, the door burst open, and men dressed in pyjamas streamed in, Shakes, Dancing Rasta, Cool Joe, Klaus, North Shaw, and Blok then stared at us.
Boy was it embarrassing. They all just laughed and ended up on the floor, rolling while clutching their sides or slumped against the wall, snorting like pigs. Why did boys have absolutely no manners? The only one not laughing was Dancing Rasta who could be seen smirking though.
When Tiger and I finally untangled ourselves from the mess we had created, the damage was already done - and everyone was just whispering to each other, smiling, smirking, making kissy faces at us, I just had enough of it - whereas Tiger was merely hiding his face behind his hands.
"Guys - please stop - can we finally just stop this 'thing' and get to the point? Of why we're here? We're here to have fun! So let's get the board games rolling!"
"A'ight, sure, Tiger man, you can stop hiding your face now, let's play!"
"Wait, wait, wait, wait - I see a disco ball lying on the floor, now, we are going to put that thing up on the ceiling, right brothers?" Cool Joe asked as he picked the disco ball up and spun it around on his finger like a basketball.
"Yeah, Cool Joe!" Shakes said as he spotted the lying ladder on the floor and hold it up. Cool Joe immediately went up the ladder to hang the disco ball which he did within barely 3 seconds - which by the way, took Tiger more than 10 minutes - and he couldn't hang it.
"Thanks, Cool Joe!" Tiger finally looked up, grinning.
"Not a problem, brother! So, which board game should we play first?"
"Ooh, ooh! Why don't we play Uno?" Klaus suggested as he munched on a strudel which he offered to everyone - who refused.
"Sure, mate." North Shaw said and Blok added, "Blrggh blrkkk blurrkkk,"
