"HEH? Lord Yuan! Is this a joke?! She broke the gates with her cursed magic! Why are you holding a servant? She put herself in danger she did so many things she deserves..."

"I do not want to hear any comments about my orders, Keira, prepare the room"

My eyes opened up slowly, I could recognize Jing's voice arguing with Keira.

"Bibi!" BaoBao was jumping trying to reach me, Jing moved a little bit to avoid BaoBao to touch me 

"She's tired, she needs to sleep"

"Let me take care of her, we will manage her wounds with the doctors" Xiao looked worried, my blue eyes looked at her as she was holding BaoBao hands to reassure her.

"Hmm" I tried to speak but I was just too tired and the poison was making me having hard times to even breath.

Jing looked terribly focus on me, at some point he looked fiercely at Hue who appeared in front of the present people like a cold breeze, that made everyone step aside as he was laying his hand on my front, moving some of my brown hair.

"I will take care of her, let me carry my lady" 

Jing looked at him "They have to change her clothes, BaoBao and Xiao will do it"

Hue tilted his head to a side "I do not see the reason why"

I could feel Jing's body getting a little bit tense "She's a woman"

"I am part of her"

"Still, I am not letting you enter in her room"

Hue laughed "General, with all the respect I personally do not feel but I have to for my lady, you're just making things worse, give me my lady"

Are they serious?

"Hue" I called him and he looked at me with his ice eyes, he was mad. It looked like he wanted to kill probably everyone.

"Oi Oi, enough!" They both looked to a side, noticing Luocha walking with the medic unit he took as convoy to the Baixue Clan "Lady Bai Hu, will I ever get the chance to have a tea with you instead of taking care of your health?" he laughed as soon as he looked at me held by Jing "Oh-oh, Head General having a soft spot? Aren't you still a cutie after all?" he smiled softly, making Jing even more tense.

"Watch your mouth" he almost whispered, as he made me lay on the stretcher "She got different poisonous stabs from... Akor"

Luocha's eyes opened up and his gaze became troubled, thing that made Jing cross his arms "What? What's wrong?"

The blonde officer looked at his friend, and then Hue who was next to me as the medical unit was following Xiao and BaoBao to the room they had to prepare for me.

"Did Akor say anything? He's like my damn nemesis... Such an awful way to do experiments" Luocha talked almost to himself, like he was getting many thoughts in his head.

"He said that the level of poison she has... she will die" Jing said and Luocha did nod "But I don't trust it... She's... different"

"Once you get that poison, a mere mortal can't survive... You either become a puppet or die" Luocha said as he was repeating Akor's motto "I know it too well... disgusting curse"

"She will become... a puppet?" Jing asked and Luocha laughed.

"Oh please! You're lucky your best friend got home... and SAFE... Gosh, Fen's family is seriously aggressive, they almost locked me twice because I was reading in their archives"

Jing raised his eyebrow "Did you discover anything?"

Luocha for a moment was lost in his thought "We will talk later about that... Let me got to my patient"
