y/n and her friends just made it into the school. she had her bag slung around her shoulder as the group walked around the hallways. y/n was on a search for gunwook as they walked.

as if he heard her looking for him, gunwook and his friends came walking down the hallway too.

gunwook and his friends. he had a pretty big friend group when you think of it. he was friends with quite a lot of the male students there but his main friend group consisted of eight other people. actually, two of the people weren't even students there. one of them was in so-hye's year and the other was a graduate so they weren't walking with the group.

"hey, wook." y/n called out, making said boy turn to face her.

"oh, hi y/n!" he smiled. she smiled back, pulling out the snacks she got for him from her bag.

"I got you breakfast." she told him, handing him the snacks. his smile got bigger as he pulled her into a hug.

"thank you, you're the best!" he smiled, making y/n chuckle.

"of course I am." she agreed, hugging the boy back. "make sure you eat it before lunch, okay? I also won't be home after school because I'm going out with my girlies so if you want me to drop you off, just meet me at my car when classes are over." she told him, straightening both of their outfits.

gunwook nodded, his grin still there. "okay! I'll see you later then." he smiled, his friends teasing him from behind him. "bye, n/n! love you!" he waved goodbye as his friends continued to pull him away with them as they walked.

"see you, love you too!" y/n called back before her friends started to walk too.

"how did she even get into this school anyways? shes such a bitch to everyone else." some girl could be heard as y/n and her friends walked in the hallways.

tina turned to the girl, about to stomp over to her and beat some sense into her but yunjin stopped her, sticking her arm out.

gunwook and his friends also turned around to look at the girl, him glaring at her for what she said. she wasn't being very quiet or smart if both groups heard her.

"I get you're new but you seriously need to get smarter. y/n's literally a fucking genius and shes in the top five in every single class shes in, of course she made it in. she comes from a family of fucking geniuses because her entire family, including her, are smart as hell. don't you know that shes in third right now?" the girl's friend told her, feeling the glares and stares from people around them, including y/n's.

y/n smirked hearing this, but then scoffed at what the first girl then said.

"so what? shes still a bitch and she isn't rich? what gives her the right to bully everyone else that she doesn't associate herself with? her smarts?"

"you know, you're not very quiet. everyone here can hear you." y/n stated loudly, staring down the girl.

"so what I'm not rich? is money the only thing that can define justice and power? and to add, I'm not bullying anyone. I dont know if you know what bullying is but I'm not attacking anyone in any way, shape or form. I'm not seeking to harm, intimidate, or coerce people. I'm just being the better person by ignoring everyone who's said things about me and the people with bad personalities. another thing to add, just because I'm "smart" doesn't mean that I'm using it to be "better" than people like you. I'm just using my time wisely and common sense, which is something you don't seem to have based off the way you loudly complained about me." she scoffed.

god must be on her side today as the principal and a bunch of professors walked out to see what was happening.

"what's happening? why are you causing a commotion in the halls?" a professor asked.

"ms. lee, the person over there kept on talking bad things about our y/n here." tina huffed, pointing at the girl across from her.

"her friend tried to stop her but she kept on loudly talking about her, even though she did nothing but give her brother some food since he didn't eat this morning." yunjin added with yejin nodding.

"y/n did nothing and yet, she was still talked bad about for no reason." yejin finished. gunwook came from his friend group, standing beside y/n in front of the professor.

"she really didn't do anything. she just gave me breakfast and wished me luck." he confirmed, holding up the snacks she gave him. ms. lee looked at the group of boys behind the girls, watching as they nodded before sighing.

"you can come with us then." the principal said, pointing at the girl who talked shit with a disappointed face. she shook her head at the girl before they walked away.

"y/n, are you okay?" ms. lee asked, worriedly looking at the l/n in front of her.

"I'm fine, ms. lee. it's all good." she replied with a small smile, hooking her arm around gunwook's shoulders. the older woman sighed before nodding.

"okay. you all stay out of trouble. I hope that she will get punished as deserved. now get to your classes, they will start soon." she said before leaving with a few other professors.

"god, that was weird." yunjin sighs as the group of four decided to walk again, y/n saying goodbye to her brother as they all parted ways to their classes.
