y/n was sat in the school garden. she was there just to clear her mind. she had no classes just yet, her classes started at 10:30 today.

as she was about to sit down on one of the benches in the garden, her ringtone sounded throughout the area. it was gunwook?

"hello? what's wrong?"

"hello? mom just wanted to tell you to be careful and keep your ringer on because she might have to call you soon. when do your classes end today?"

"they end at 4 today. if she needs me, I'll be home really quickly."

"got it, I'll make sure to tell her. that's it them, I'll see you later?"

"alright, I'll see you later wook. take care. mwah." she said, making smooching noises before she hung up.

class was about to start so y/n rushed to her first class. thankfully, it was near the garden entrance.

it was finally the end of y/n's classes. she was walking outside with hanbin, who decided to join her and her friends. as soon as he joined them though, they all had "something to attend to" and left the two alone, pretty quickly.

the two were walking side by side, their hands brushing against each other's every now and then. this sounds like a dream.

"how were your classes?" y/n spoke, breaking the silence between the two.

"they were good. I wanted to know if you wanted to work on the project with me for biochem. I know we're starting it tomorrow and stuff but you know. I'd also rather work with you than anyone else in that class." he grinned innocently.

y/n's cheeks burned a bright red, her head snapping towards him.

"oh- yeah, i-i'd love to work on the project with you." she nodded, making him turn to look at her as well with a large smile.

"perfect." he chuckled. y/n bit the inside of her cheek, trying to hold in the giggles that wanted to leave her mouth.

"here, I'll walk you to your car. we can talk about the project soon, you have my number right?" he offered, grabbing ahold of her hand as they walked to the student parking lot.

"I think so. do you have mine?"

"maybe. I'll check." he nods, the two standing right beside y/n's car. he quickly checked his contacts, finding that he did have her number. he had her saved as "pretty y/nie" which made him confused. since when did he have her number and since when did he save her as pretty y/nie? whatever.

"I have your number, don't worry." he smiles. y/n smiled back, nodding before getting in her car.

"I'll take to you later then?" she said, looking up at him from her opened car window.

"I'll talk to you later. take care." he grinned at her, giving her a tiny head pat before he turned around to go to his own car.

y/n smiled to herself as she closed the window, turning on her car and making her way back home.
