L/N Y/N,
THIRD PERSON,
CU CONVENIENCE STORE,
11:04PM

the next night, y/n and hanbin were at the convenience store together. they finished their project and were currently at the convenience store near their university.

y/n was pouring out the water in her ramen cup while hanbin was sat at the table, waiting for her to be finished.

when she was finished with making her ramen, she sat beside him and with that, they finally started to eat.

"I'm glad that we aren't awkward or anything after what happened." she said to him, giving him a small smile.

"me too. it would be weird to not have talked to you at least once in a day." hanbin admitted, giving her his infamous eye smile.

this made y/n blush, once again. it's like that's all hes been doing to her, as if it was a goal or something.

"I'm kind of glad that it happened." she whispered very quietly.

"hm? did you say something?" he hummed beside her, his cheeks puffed up with noodles.

"ah, no." she replied, shaking her head. "you're super cute when you eat by the way." she mentioned, gently poking his cheek with a smile.

"you're cuter." he said back, doing that thing where he gently grabs your arm and somewhat leans on it.

"no I'm not. you're literally the cutest person ever, all the time. especially when you wake up in the morning." she pointed out, literally leaning against him.

he wrapped his arms around her and laid his head on her shoulder. he held her hands in his, gently holding on to them as if they were glass.

"I don't believe that but if you say so then sure." he quietly tells her. y/n nodded and now the two were sat in a comfortable silence and position.

he was always a pretty touchy person, but something about this felt different. it felt more... protective, meaningful, and sweet. something about it made her want this to happen everyday. she felt safe in his arms.

hanbin felt something similar. with the idea that he was starting to have romantic feelings for her, he felt that having her in his arms felt right. it felt like it belonged, like it's something that was for sure going to happen in their lives.

they weren't doing anything but sitting there together, enjoying the quiet night silence of the area and each other's presence.

though it was very calming, y/n was scared that he could hear or feel her heart beating out of her chest. she had grown to like him quite a lot, and with him suddenly clinging to her more, she felt like things were going her way for once. she was finally in the comfort of hanbin's arms after "liking" him for so long.

her feelings have grown to the point that she's starting to accept that shes starting to love him, and she'd wait for as long as she had to for hanbin to like her back or reject her. she didn't mind which one would happen, just as long as they were still friends in the end.

she wondered if he was starting to do the things he does on purpose. was he still oblivious? was he just doing these things for fun? he had such an affect on her and he probably hasn't noticed yet.

the rest of their night was just getting lost in their thoughts and each other's eyes, their snacks long forgotten as they sat in each other's arms until very late in the night.
