PARK GUNWOOK,
THIRD PERSON,
CHUNG-AN UNIVERSITY HOSPITAL,
5:49PM

now that the office thing was over, the park family was at the hospital. though so-hye had gotten checked up at the school nurse, she of course had to get checked up at the hospital so that's what they were currently doing.

gunwook was watching as the doctor did tests on so-hye's injured wrist, him and y/n patiently sitting on the chairs beside the hospital bed.

"okay, let's get this x-rayed so we can see what we can do then." the doctor spoke, taking the younger park into the x-ray room to get her wrist scanned.

"I'm still surprised that she just casually talked to the girl like that." youngmi said when the doctor and her daughter left for the scanning.

junyeong nods in agreement, his hand holding onto youngmi's tightly. "the good thing though is that she's okay." he says, mainly for himself.

"no but how could she just so casually talk to her like that? what the heck?" y/n quietly says to gunwook.

"right? she hurt her and all her friends, and yet she still gave her, her instagram and unblocked her? I swear, she's an angel and not human." gunwook whispers back.

"she just casually shakes her hand like that too? I mean, at least she didn't forgive her." y/n scoffs.

"she didn't forgive her yet. yet." he corrects. "if sujin really does change and they become friends, she will most definitely forgive her."

"right." y/n sighs out.

"so-hye noona is too nice." minhyun says out loud, making y/n choke on her saliva and gunwook choke on air.

"minhyun-" youngmi says, cutting herself off as she holds back her laugh.

"you should tell her that when she gets back, minhyun." junyeong nods at the boy. minhyun nods back and a few minutes later, so-hye comes back with the doctor and a nurse.

"okay so I can confirm that her wrist is indeed fractured and broken. it should take around six to twelve weeks to heal, but since it looks pretty bad, those twelve weeks might turn into twenty-four weeks. with the cast, it should heal within around twelve to twenty weeks but there is the possibility of that extra month of the healing process. when you get the cast, your skin under it will feel a bit itchy but it goes away in a day or two." the doctor explains, making gunwook's eyes go wide.

"wait wait wait, the healing process can take up to twenty-four weeks? that's seven months though." he said. the doctor nodded in confirmation.

"sadly, yes. this is one of the worst breaks that we've seen in a while, and it's also fractured which will add on to the healing process."

"what happens after the healing process?" youngmi asked worriedly.

"her hand would be stiff and hard to work with. with an injury this bad and a healing process this long, it could take about two years for her to unstiffen her hand. of course, it might not take this long but theres a pretty high chance that the stiffness would be very bad."

y/n sighed out in stress beside gunwook, who was thinking of the future if so-hye's healing process was this long. as he was thinking, the doctor got her wrist all bandaged up went over a few things with her and their parents about what needed to be done and so on.

later on that evening, gunwook was sat at his pc setup, spinning around on his chair as he texted his friends about what happened.
