Time stood still for Kunimitsu. It blocked out all voices of panic and worry around him. He was hyper ventilating to see his dead father figure in his dragon form. It reminded him...of another loved one's death. Even tho he was used to seeing dead things, the death of those he calls family hurts him the most, like how his mother told him of his aunt's death in Khaenri'ah.
This was something he feared. Was this how his mother felt...?
Just as he was about to scream, Lumine grabs his arm and him out of his current state.
Lumine: "Kunimitsu! Snap out of it! We have to go!"
Kunimitsu: "But...Re-"
Diluc: "Kunimitsu, nows not the time. For now we need to avoid the Millelith. Right now they're questioning everyone so we need to make our get away."
Bennett: "Guys I don't mean to rush but we need to get out of here!"
Lumine: "Come on, follow me."
Lumine and the group go on to sneak past the guards. The Traveler is worried for Kunimitsu's current state since he just watched his father figure fall from the sky dead. They walk past some guards, but Bennett's bad luck strikes again as he stepped on some glass which alerted a soldier. Now caught they start running down the stairs but they're cut off from both ends.
Millelith Soldier: "There's nowhere to run now."
Lumine pulls out her sword but then they hear an unknown voice.
???: "Hey buddy hold still."
Suddenly three hydro infused arrows knock the soldiers weapons out of their hands and an unknown man jumps out from the bush behind the group and forms dual hydro swords and defeats the soldiers with ease.

Seeing as more soldiers were on their way, he turns to them.
???: "Come with me."
Knowing their desperate situation, they follow the man to the main streets and hide in an alley.
Paimon: "Phew...Paimon's exhausted."
Diluc: "At least now we can hide here for now. Liyue is already crawling with the Millelith."
Lumine: "I'm even more beat..."
Paimon: "So insensitive! You have no idea just how tiring floating arou- Wait just who are you exactly?"
She cuts herself off and asks the man who he is.
Childe: "Call me Childe."
Bennett: "PFFT!
Paimon"Childe? What, so we're supposed to dote on you?"
Diluc: "I don't think thats the case."
Razor: "Strange man...smells like...soldiers with strange crests."
