Among The Seven, The Raiden Shogun had a son named Kunimitsu. He was the Prince of Inazuma and the second most powerful being in the nation, wielder of the Mist Splitter katana. During the Cataclysm and the battle of the Abyss, Kunimitsu made a self...
Mondstadt has never been this peaceful. The Windblume Festival was a success. Durin, now in his human form, is resting in Albedo's office while everyone else is enjoying the games still active from the festival. Mydei and Ai were together on a date, one that was overdue, but they could handle it. Venti, Kunimisu, and Cipher are seen walking through the streets.
Cipher: "Wait, so you're telling me you, Kunimitsu, and the first Grand Master overthrew that stupid clan?"
Kunimitsu: "Trust me, I can barely recall everything, but I do remember whooping some ass."
Venti: "I contacted Kunimitsu through the wind for assistance with the rebellion."
Kunimitsu: "The Lawrence Clan was already on my shitlist when I heard they've been oppressing the people of Mondstadt. It was also annoying because there was another god involved."
Cipher: "Who was it?"
Kunimitsu: "The Dux Imperator, Oay, also known as the former resident now turned God from Remuria, Cerydra."
Venti: "She tempered the Lawrence Clan's actions to rule Mondstadt with an iron fist, just to see how humans tick from those in Fontaine. When the rebellion happened...well...it didn't go exactly according to plan because of one thing."
Cipher: "That being?"
Venti looks at Kunimitsu, who lowers his head.
Venti: "He lost control."
Cipher: "Excuse Me?"
Kunimitsu: "...It happened on the day of the rebellion."

The Lawrence clan was known to have placed a strong emphasis on appearing noble, with many of their practices stemming from the idea that their perception in the eyes of "commoners" must befit that of nobility. Their extreme regimen is considered abusive in most regards, and they only hire the best of the best to tutor the younger generation.
The curriculum focuses mainly on combat, dance, cooking, and etiquette. They also place high emphasis on art, referring to it as "the second soul." Dancing and art are extremely important parts of the clan's traditions. "The Dance of Sacrifice", a noble ritual, is believed to be the crystallized form of this second soul. The third act of this dance belongs to the Lawrence Clan, known as "Flickering Candlelight". It is a solo dance that has been passed down through generations, performed by the eldest daughter. Bleeding toes are seen as a point of honor when learning the difficult steps. While the segment used to hold great meaning, the clan was forced to drop it from the curriculum due to a lack of dancers to teach it, and has since been relegated to an artistic pastime; simply put, a graceful dance.
