We cut over to the underground laboratory of Dottore, Lingsha is seen bound to a machine, syphoning her draconic power. She breathes heavily as the machine extracts her power, leaving her worse for wear. Dottore comes in with his hands behind his back and a smile.
Dottore: "I must say, for a descendant of the Dragon King, you hold such high potential. I knew from the moment I saw you when The Jester brought you and Scaramouche in, you have the power to command your own fate."
Lingsha grunts as she is tired from having her power syphoned until Dottore snapped his finger, and a claw machine materialized behind her, then injected a substance into her body, and she was filled with adrenaline.
Dottore: "Ah, ah, can't have you dying on me now. You want to make your master's dream come true, don't you? Then stay awake."
Lingsha: "What...what do you get out of this...? Creating a god...to defy the heavens...to elevate humans on the level of gods?"
Dottore: "Hmm, an astute guess. But you're not entirely right. Should the good associate with the good, and the bad join with the bad? This world is broken, and I think it's time a fair game is met. You, a relic from ancient times, shall pave the way to breaking the limits of fate and challenge the authority of all. And your master will be proud of your sacrifice."
Lingsha glares at him. While Dottore smirks and walks around her.
Dottore: "Allow me to explain. Ever wonder why our fates are predetermined? You, a dragon hatchling that was in the care of the deceased Electro Dragon Sovereign, found by the abandoned creation of the Raiden Shogun and taken to be their guide and familiar, but have you ever wondered what kind of fate you would've had if you didn't follow that path? You are the Dragon King's descendant, so why choose the path of a simple slave?"
Lingsha: "...You must really be a fool...I devoted my life to him because he took me in, sheltered me, and in return, I guided him. I promised I would never leave his side or betray him, even if he made dreadful decisions."
Dottore: "Oh? You speak of betrayal? Now that is interesting..."
Lingsha: "What do you know of betrayal..."
Dottore: "Did...one of them happen to be related...to a certain contaminated island...in Inazuma?"
Lingsha was confused about how he knew about that. Only the Jester knows, since it was he who recruited them into the Fatui...unless.
Lingsha: "No... no... no... No!"
Dottore's grin grew sinister. In response, Lingsha lashed out at him, wishing she could get her hands on his throat as she cursed him out with such profanity.
Lingsha: "YOU BASTARD SON OF A BITCH! IT WAS YOU! IT WAS ALL YOU!! YOU CAUSED HIM PAIN!!! YOU KILLED OUR FRIEND ALL THOSE YEARS AGO!!!! I'LL FUCKING KILL YOU!!!"
Dottore: "Oh my dear little dragon...you must relax yourself...otherwise your egg will be my next experiment."
Lingsha's eyes glow red with pyro energy.
Dottore: "Allow me...to show you everything."
