In a carriage coming from Natlan to the Sumeru Desert, we see some Knights of Favonius in the carriage alongside a woman of prestige with a fan in her face. Sitting across from her was Mydei himself, his wounds closing from the curse he had been inflicted with.
Mydei: "I thank you for picking me up from the desert, young lady."
???: "Hmph. As much as I want to dump you to the wolves, you seem to be someone of high status, such as me. But your aura... It's not familiar to me. It's almost like that flirtatious and annoying cavalry captain, you're Khaenri'ahn...aren't you?"
Mydei: " *sigh*...was. I was Khaenri'ahn, and I still am...but my home is gone. Destroyed by the gods."
