Its technological advances and large machinery illuminate the beautiful kingdom of Khaenri'ah. It was ruled solely by humans and no gods. It was the pinnacle and pride of human sovereignty.
Until it was discovered by two gods, the children of the Electro Archon, the two were in awe at the beautiful and evolved nation, ruled by humans. They spent a lot of time in the nation, and the nation grew to love the two gods, but the siblings made it apparent that they didn't want to rule the nation. It was already in good hands.
Kunimitsu was especially impressed by the security, hierarchy, and royalty of Khaenri'ah, and that it didn't discriminate against anyone, and the nation helped anyone in need.
While Ai was out with some friends she made in Khaenri'ah, Kunimitsu was in a laboratory of sorts with a woman of great esteem. Kunimitsu is seen flipping through the pages of a book while the woman is experimenting.
Kunimitsu: "You sure this...alchemy could work? I mean...this looks fishy..."

Kunimitsu sighed and lay back. His eyes traveled through all of the shelves that the woman had, full of vials, one of which had a tiny lifeform in it.
Kunimitsu: "What's with the fetus in a bottle, Rhinedottir?"
Rhinedottir: "Just an experiment I plan to use in the future."
