Wait for the signal and I'll meet you after dark
Show me the places where the others gave you scars
Now this is an open-shut case
Guess I should've known from the look on your face
Every bait and switch was a work of artThe more that you say
The less I know
Wherever you stray
I follow
I'm begging for you to take my hand Wreck my plans
That's my man
You know that my train could take you home
Anywhere else is hollow
I'm begging for you to take my hand
Wreck my plans
That's my man(Willow - Taylor Swift)
[Harry]
While he has Louis asleep in his arms, still exhausted and with a slight headache, and they are actually waiting for the doctor's discharge letter, his thoughts swim back to him hurrying to the Café when Dan informed him of the incident from Louis' mobile phone. As calmly as he told Louis yesterday in a nutshell doesn't come close to how freaked out he actually was.
With screeching tires, he arrived in his still- vandalised Range Rover at the Café. He had just picked it up from the garage that had put new tires on it and actually Harry wanted to tell Louis afterwards what he had kept secret. He had come to the realisation in the stillness of the bed that morning that he had asked Louis for honesty and wasn't it himself. He was already startled enough that Louis wasn't there when he woke up, because his phone was ringing loudly and he was told that the security camera footage actually showed a man damaging Harry's car. And then another call came from the garage he had secretly commissioned with changing his tires. Actually, Harry was still too hungover to have all those early morning conversations. Especially because he was stressed about whether Louis got to work safely.
His plan was actually this - Garage, pick up the copy of the security camera video and afterwards visit Louis at the Café. But then his phone rang again as he was at the garage and Harry answered it with a smile when he saw Louis' name on the display. Was so happy to have the chance to hear his boyfriend's voice. But instead it was Dan's, telling him stressed what had happened and that Harry should come over.
Harry's heart skipped a beat and he was suddenly nauseous. He jumped into the car, thank God he had already paid for everything, and was ready to go. His hands were shaking as he gripped the steering wheel too tightly, his knuckles already turning white.
"Fuck," he yelled as the traffic through London once again became more than slow, banging on the horn and about to lose his mind. Tears of anger and desperation ran down his cheeks. His baby needed him and he was caught in traffic.
"Please don't let it be bad. Let him be fine," he murmured under his breath, imagining the worst of things because Dan didn't have much time to explain. All Harry knew was that Louis was hurt and passed out and it was Jake's fault.
When he finally found a small parking bay and cursed out loud until the Range Rover was finally parked, there was no stopping him. He ran the last few meters to the Café, ambulance and police already parked in front of it and Harry's panic increased immeasurably. It had to be bad right?
The bell above the door rang too loud in his ears, all senses heightened and Harry completely overwhelmed. Also from the looks of the guests, who just gazed at the hustle and bustle around them with wide eyes.
Harry charged at a police officer standing in the open doorway to the personnel area and croaked out, "Where's Louis?"
"Who are you anyway?" he asked back unimpressed.
