**Mika's POV**
Corey kept bugging me last night about training. I forgot to train those past few days due to a lot of twisted events. He knocked on my door and shoved me into the bathroom. I cursed him out while laughing. He was one big jerk anyway. I fixed myself and put my sportswear on. Shorts and a sports bra but this time royal blue. It empathized how white my skin was. I was even training under the sun, it seemed that my skin didn't cooperate. I just got sunburnt and it healed overnight.
"Finally! You're here!" Corey said enthusiastically. "Do I have a choice big guy?" I asked sounding irritated. Corey heard the irritation. "Enough of being grumpy this morning Lady Mika, because Alpha Shad and first beta Titus informed me a while ago that you're joining us here." He looked behind my back. "Oh, speaking of the devil." He said smirking at me.
I turned around and saw two-half naked men walking towards me. They both looked mouthwatering but I found Shad more attractive. Maybe because of his prestige aura and totally different personality. "Close your mouth Lady Mika, bugs will surely stay there if you don't close it." Corey whispered in my ear. I elbowed his side and turned to face him. "Will you please remind me again why I'm here?" I said eyeing him. "To train of course!" He answered. "Corey." Shad said.
I turned around to greet him. "Good morning Alpha." I said. "Good morning Lady Mika." He answered back. "Morning Mi Mi." Titus said smiling at me. "Mi Mi?" Both Shad and I said. "Yep! Mi Mi, short for Mika." Titus said. "You've got to be kidding me Titus." I said while rubbing my forehead. "Oh come on, Mi Mi. I stopped being a noble type of guy and became a funny type of guy, yet you still hate me?" Titus asked faking his hurt.
I rolled my eyes and ignored him. "Corey, what's on our agenda today?" Shad asked, interrupting Titus' childishness. "Sparing today. You can choose your opponent or do you want Lady Mika to be your partner?" Corey asked. "I'll choose a better one. Titus." Shad said. "Awww! Why me?" Titus complained. "I need to know if you're fit enough to fight and sparing with me is the best opportunity to test your abilities more. It seems you're not yourself these past few days." Shad said. "Whatever you say Alpha." Titus replied. "How about me Corey? Who's my partner today?" I asked. "I choose someone better. Luke!" He shouted.
A man that looked like Jacob from Twilight, stepped forward. He was so hot. I eyed him from head to toe. Sexy. "Good morning Lady Mika. I'm very pleased to spar with you today." Luke said. "The pleasure is mine. I hope for a better fight." I said.
Since Shad and Titus were occupying the stage, Luke and I chose to train in the sand and gravel ring next to them. We were both stretching when I heard Titus shout in pain. Shad must have kicked his first betas ass. "I heard you got the better of Max last night. I hope to have a better chance with you." Luke said. I studied him. I knew his type of fighting. He was like my brother, humble but deadly.
After stretching we circled each other. Testing and thinking of what strategy to use. I knew he was waiting for my move that's why I faked out a punch to the stomach. He automatically dodged my hand and gave me a smack on the left cheek. "You're fast and strong." I said. "But you accepted my hit without being hurt. It was like you anticipated it." Luke said. 'Good! He's observing as well.'
"You can say that." I said before I ran to him and hit him in the gut, catching him off guard.
He recovered fast as we started to exchange punches. He certainly hit me a lot but I damaged him more. He was as fast as I was but he was lacking strategy. He was just punching and kicking me. I caught his right hand which was supposed to hit my face and kneed him, elbowing his face. Luke fell to the ground repeatedly. I thought it was the end but when I turned around, he changed into his brown wolf and bit my hand. Caught off guard, I shouted out in pain. It wasn't my intention to catch anyone's attention but within seconds Shad was in front of me, throwing Luke out of the way. "What the hell!" Shad yelled at Luke.
The guy already shifted back to his human form. I hated him for doing that but I still couldn't ignore the sight in front of me. "We were just sparing Alpha.." Luke explained. "You bit her when she turned around?! That's what a coward would do! You're supposed to be a fighter!" Shad growled in anger. "I'm fine! It's just a trai—"
"No you're not fine! You're bleeding. I'll bring you to the healer." He said cutting me off.
The funny thing is, I was a healer but healers couldn't heal themselves and we also heal faster then others. Shad led me inside the pack house and into the other healer's clinic. The old woman greeted me with pleasure. She was one of the two healers residing here in Silver Moon. Shad patiently waited until Isha finished her work and excused herself.
"You need to be ready anytime Mika. You never turn your back on your enemy." He said. "Yes, I know. It's my fault." I said. "Look what happened to you. If you were in a real fight, you could be dead right now." He said. "I said I know! Don't treat me like a baby Shad. I know your point; I just didn't know Luke would do that." I said, annoyed with him.
"Now you must know. Be alert at all times Mika. Remember that you will be the next Alpha - Female here. You'll be Luna; you must know how to protect yourself." He said. "I didn't intend to be a Luna but I don't have a choice. Now, if you'll excuse me... I need to rest and clean myself up." I said ignoring him. "Oh, now I remember. I need to ask you a favor." I remembered the healer issue.
"Now you want a favor? If that's the case then meet me by my office after lunch and we'll discuss it." He said. "Okay thank you."
