Chapter 29: Finding Mika

***Shad's POV***

We were waiting for the Oracle to arrive. She said that she had information on how to locate those bloodsuckers even when they have masked their scent but I didn't understand myself. I felt wrong about this. I left my mate's side for this information. She better show up or else.....
'Alpha!!!' Corey shouted through the pack link. 'What is it?' I suddenly felt nervous. 'I went to check on the Luna in her room but all I saw when I got here was the dead bodies of our pack members. The others are all sleeping and I can't wake them.'
        Shit!!!!!! I moved as fast as I could, transforming into my wolf. When I reached the house, Mika's scent was faint. I ran to our room and smelt something on the floor. I was stupid. I knew what it was. He fucking raped my mate and took her! A loud growl escaped my lips. My limbs were shaking, all I could see was red. I lost my senses at the thought of my mate being used by another man broke me. I threw everything, almost ruining my room when I saw a note on the window.
        'I fucking love her tightness. She screamed when I took her. Don't bother looking. After all, I'm also her mate.' Her mate? What the fuck!

        I almost ripped the whole pack house apart because I was angry. How did this happen to Mika and why did that vampire say that he and Mika are also mates? Was that even possible? "Shad, you need to be stable. We need to save Mika," said Alpha Malcolm.
        Titus called them immediately after I calmed down. He needed to know what happened to his daughter. "I don't know what to do Malcolm. I didn't read about this. Why did he say that he was also Mika's mate? Can a vampire even have a mate?"
"I can't answer that for you. All I know is that Mika's situation is dangerous right now. If he was able to rape her right inside your pack house, it will be even worse for Mika while he has my daughter." Alpha Malcolm said.
        Alpha Malcolm was right. There was a good chance he would do something worse to Mika. I was so hurt I didn't think about how much Mika was hurting right now. "That oracle. There's a good chance she'll conspire with that vampire. She didn't come to our meeting earlier and I also called Rose's pack but the woman wasn't there anymore and they didn't know where she went."
"I wonder how that vampire lived for so long. Where did he live and how did he find out about Mika?" Alpha Malcolm asked curiously.
        "There's a good chance that even before the Oracle landed here, she was with that vampire. She probably told my visions to that blood sucker."
"Based on the information we got from the other elders, that man was created alone. He may have the ability to create vampires too. There has been many missing person reports especially werewolves that we couldn't find. In humans, there are a lot of animal killings that's been reported to the authorities." Alpha Malcolm said.
        "We can start to find them in the places where there's been the largest number of animal attack cases. Those vampires are most likely hiding near those places. We need to act fast to save Mika. I will not let that vampire succeed in making my wife his breeder." Everyone growled in agreement. We divided into to the places listed on Alpha Malcolm's list. The more people on search, the better.

        I didn't give up. Even after the whole day we didn't get any information on where those vampires were hiding.
        Later on in the evening, one of the nearby packs called us to let us know that they had a companion who had suddenly disappeared while on patrol. It was said that this was the second time this month so they wanted to ask for our help. We acted immediately. They must be more active at night. We tried to find any clue about it and were not disappointed.
        My team caught the vampire in action while sucking the blood of a poor human. We didn't find the werewolf, but we did find a human girl who was lifeless and almost discolored due to blood loss. This vampire was fast and strong. Almost two of my warriors helped with handling him. "Where is your hide out and where did you take my wife?" I asked while grabbing his neck. "Your wife? She is no longer your wife. She is the wife of our master. Do not expect me to tell you where we are hiding her. You cannot beat my master." He said.
        "Don't try my patience bloodsucker. Where did you take Mika!"
"Even if you kill me, I will not tell you what I know. Also, I assure you that as of this moment that woman is moaning and enjoying my masters co—" The vampire didn't get to finish what he was going to say as I tore his head off.
        My wolf got mad when he heard about how our mate enjoyed fucking that monster. Mika wasn't that type of woman and I was sure she was waiting for me. I would find her even if I had to flip the earth upside down. I looked up at the sky and prayed to the Moon Goddess. I still had faith in her, even though I wanted to blame her for what was happening now, I still wanted to put my faith in her. Hoping that she would help my mate overcome this battle.
        'Mika, wait for me love. I'll do anything to find you. Please be strong. We can do this.' I said through our link, hoping that she could hear me.
