After Shad left, I went straight to Toby. He looked real pissed to. "T." I said sitting beside him. "He was so damn rude to you. How could the moon goddess let this stupid thing happen?" I grabbed his hand and smiled. "T, you're such a good friend." I said honestly before we were disturbed by Titus' presence. "Alpha summoned you to his office." Titus said coldly while he was looking at our hands.

He looked so dangerous. I told Titus to stay, I couldn't stop these guys from hurting each other. I was about to speak when the door flew open and the girl I hated most flaunted her flirty smile. "What do we have here Shad?" Lauren said smiling sweetly at him. "Lauren, sit down. I need to tell you something."
"What is that something?" She said continuing her flirty moves. "Since Mika is no longer part of Snow Moon pack ——— and they're without a healer, I have decided to send you to her old pack to replace her duties there." Shad said.
I was shocked as was everyone else in the room. "What? You can't do that to me Shad! I am Silver Moon! Not some Snow Moon bitch!" Lauren said pointing her finger in my face. "Don't you dare put your filthy finger in my face." I said annoyed. "And why not?! Ever since you came to this pack you've ruined everything! My relationship with Shad and now my position here?! Damn you!" She said pushing me.
Toby was fast enough to catch me but I pushed his hand away before pushing Lauren back. "Don't you dare touch me! I didn't have any intention of ruining your relationship with Shad nor any intention of taking your position. It's all because of the damn contract! If you want to stay here then I'll go back to Snow Moon. I don't want to constantly see your bitch face flirting with my soon to be mate. You're a disgrace to our kind." I shouted in her face. "Yes that damn contract because your pack is so weak that they needed to ask for our help! Your pack shouldn't have ever existed. I don't want to see your face either. I hate that you came here and took everything from me." Lauren said.
Right then she had hit the wrong button. I was beyond mad. I accepted her insult towards me but I wasn't going to accept her insult towards my pack. I grabbed her neck and threw her outside of the glass window of Shad's office. "Mika!" Shad, Titus and Toby said in union. I looked them in the eyes daring them to stop me. I was Alpha female even if my wolf was still sleeping. I had my own strength. "NONE OF YOU CAN INTERFERE!" I yelled before jumping out the window. I landed with a big thud. "You bitch!" Lauren shouted before partially shifting into her wolf form. She tried to get me with her claws but I dodged her attack and kicked her legs.
Toby, Shad, and Titus were now circling us as well as the other pack members. They all looked surprised at the sudden fight. "I will not let you insult Snow Moon again! We are not weak! You sure do have a death wish." I said before throwing punches and kicking her everywhere. I threw her against the nearest tree but she got up and shifted into her grey wolf.
Typical wolf color and size of a healer. I almost laughed. "Do you think you can beat me, Lauren? Maybe I can't transform into my wolf yet but I was born to be an Alpha. I got the strength and power you don't have." I spoke with much anger and aggressiveness. She lunged at me and bit my arm. I just smiled and accepted the pain.
"Yes, that's it! Pain, I want more." I didn't recognize my own voice. "Wolf was that you?" I could feel her but she wasn't answering. She stepped back in horror. What was happening? I looked behind me and when I did Toby, Shad, and Titus looked shocked. "P-Piggy.. your eyes." Toby said. "What's wrong with my eyes?" I asked. "It changed color." Toby said. "What?"
"Your blue eyes are now a silver-grey." He said.
I ignored Lauren and ran inside the pack house, going into the bathroom and looking in the mirror. "HOLY SHIT!" I shouted. Shad was then at my side. "What's wrong Mika?" Shad asked. "My eyes, they never change color." I said not believing what was happening. "Has it happened before?"
"No! And that voice a bit ago wasn't me." I said. "Your wolf? Can you feel her?" He asked curiously. "I can but we can't communicate. She seems to still be sleeping."
"Sleeping? You mean you can feel her but you don't have any communication?"
"Yes."
"Alpha, we sent Lauren to the elder healer. Her wound wasn't healing properly." Titus said, interrupting us.
Shad followed Titus. I grabbed my phone to call my father. He needed to know what had happened. 'Mika, how are you?' My father asked. 'I'm fine dad. I called to tell you I think I'll be shifting soon.' I said excitedly. 'R-Really? T-That's good.' He said. 'Daddy? What's wrong?'
'Nothing Mika. Please be careful okay? The first shift is very painful. Wait, is Toby there?'
'Yes but he'll be going back home soon. Shad doesn't like him around and he's going to send one of the healers from here to Snow Moon.' I said. 'That will be a big help. Don't forget to thank him, okay? I love you baby girl.' Dad said. 'I love you to dad.' I said before ending the call.
I fixed myself and went looking for Toby. I found him sitting in the living room. "Toby?"
"God Mika. What happened to you? Your eyes. Why are they still silver-grey?" He asked. "I don't know but I think it's my wolf. She's slowly awakening." I said. "It creeps the hell out of me seeing you like that."
"Hey! It's just my eyes. I'm still your best friend." I said pinching his nose. "Ehemmm!" I turned around to see Titus and Shad looking at Tony like he was prey. "I don't want another fight here, okay? I'm too exhausted." I said.
"Lauren will be in the infirmary for a couple days. I don't have a choice but to let your friend stay here to wait for her." Shad said. "Really?"
"Why? Do you want me to change my mind and send him home now?" Shad asked. "NO!" I shouted. "Thank you so much for your kindness, Alpha." I said elbowing Toby. "Thank you, Alpha." Toby said in a sarcastic tone. "Like I said. I don't have a choice. Now Mika, I need to talk to you alone. Titus will accompany your friend to his room and you will follow me to ours." He said turning his back and walking out before I could complain. I wanted goodbye to Toby before I followed Shad.
