Chapter 25: Secrets

((The wolf up there is what Mika's wolf looks like!!!))

'You need to wake up, Mika. I am here now.' I could hear my wolf talking to me. 'Hana, is that you?' I asked. 'Yes. My powers have awakened.' Hana, my wolf said with an evil grin. 'What are you talking about?'
'Open your eyes,' she said.
        Slowly I opened my eyes and could see myself tied to a big tree. I looked around to see a man standing in front of me. "Finally, you're awake. Let us see what my master means what happens when he we show you the blue moon." He said. "Who are you?" I asked. "I am Fabian and that's all you need to know. I don't have time for chitchat. Now let us see." He walked towards me and pulled me by my hair. "Look at the moon now." He said, showing me the blue moon, which was shining so beautifully in the sky.
        Something inside me was burning. I looked at the moon but I saw nothing as the light radiated from it. "It hurts! It hurts!" I shouted. I felt my claws extending as my nose, ears and eyes were bleeding. My bones were cracking. "What's happening to me?!" I saw the man smirking at me. "You're changing." Fabian said. "Ahhhhhhhhh!!!!" I screamed in agony.
        I closed my eyes and reopened them. When they opened, everything changed. I could see more clearly, even in the dark forest. I could smell everything even the ants on the ground. I looked at the man who was now shocked at my appearance. Ready to kill him for kidnapping me, I continued looking his direction. I started to walk slowly when I noticed my paws. I looked down at myself and realized that I had shifted into my wolf. I hadn't seen any wolf like mine. My fur was white and blue, like the moon. My fangs were as big as panther teeth and my claws were white and sharp.
'Is this your form Hana?' I asked my wolf. 'Yes, it is.' Hana said proudly. 'You are beautiful.' I complimented her. She just smirked at me. "This is what my master wanted me to see? This is what he wanted to clarify?" The man standing in front of me said. To see him so shocked made me question is reaction. I knew I needed to be mad at him and want to kill him but something wasn't right. He smelt weird. He immediately pushed me away from him. "Don't you dare test me lady; I don't want to hurt you. My master just wants to see if you're the one we're looking for." He said.
        That caught my attention. I tried to shift back into my human form but it was hard. I tried and tried until Hana cooperated and let me handle him on my own. I stood naked in front of him, which he didn't seem to mind. "What are you? You smell like death." I said. "I'm not what you think I am. We do exist." Fabian said. "You're not human nor werewolf. I'm sure you're not an oracle because you're a man, so what are you?" I asked him. "You said I smell like death so what am I?" Fabian smirked at me.
        My eyes widened at the realization. This couldn't happen. I never thought they really existed in our world. "You're a vampire?" I asked. "Exactly," he said smirking. "It's impossible. I haven't heard about your kind. It's just a myth." I said. "We're myths because we choose to be that way. This is the first time I've shown myself and let me tell you, I don't like the idea. My King, wanted to know if you were real." He said. "You have a King? What the hell did he want to clarify?" I asked, annoyance and curiosity filling my entire body.
"It's not your concern but be prepared, he'll get you and I'm very sure he's coming for you." Fabian said before disappearing in the air. He jumped off the cliff! I looked around, smelling everything. I was still on pack grounds. I remembered to open my mind to hear Shad's voice. I was sure that he was worried.
'Shad?!' I called through our link. 'The fuck?! Mika! Where are you?!' He asked, sounding so worried. 'I'm not sure where it is but I am sure I'm still on the pack's grounds. I can see a cliff in front of me.'
'You're at the North-East side. Wait for me there.'
'Ahm, Shad?'
'Yes Mika? Just a minute, we're on our way there.'
'I'm naked.' I told him. I could feel that he had stopped for a moment. His mind was open so I could see what he was thinking.
'Stop those stupid thoughts of yours. Nothing happened to me, I just shifted.' I said.
'You did what?' He asked. 'I shifted you idiot!' I shouted in his head. 'Wow. Easy there. Don't get mad. I'll bring clothes.' Shad said.
It only took five minutes before Shad appeared in front of me with clothes. No one was with him, so I assume he ordered them to give us space. I knew he had so many questions but he remained quiet until I was fully clothed. "What happened to you Mika? Who kidnapped you?" He asked. Shad looked so furious but at the same time he looked worried and tired. "You won't believe it. The man who kidnapped me wasn't human, he's something we didn't think existed." I said. "Where is he right now? What did he do to you?"
"He did nothing. He just wanted to see me shift."
"Why the hell would he want to see you shift? And by the way, my wolf wanted to see your wolf." He said smirking at me. I knew what he meant by that.
        As a werewolf, after we mark our human skin, our wolf would do the same and they'd also mate. "Later. I need to rest for a while; she took a lot of my energy."
"Come on, let's talk about this in the pack house. I need to send our guests home and talk to your family. They are very worried about you. I couldn't even look at your dad." He said. I hugged and kissed him for just a moment. I knew he was worried about me. He carried me back home.
        My father was already at the front door looking worried. I smiled at him, reassuring him that I was fine. Shad put me on the sofa inside his office and left me for a moment to explain what had happened to the guests and send them home. Only my dad, Mateo, Toby, and some of our pack members stayed.
        Then, Dad, Mateo, Titus, Corey and other high-ranking wolves were inside the office. Shad put me on his lap while leaning in and smelling my scent. "Mika, tell us what happened?" Dad asked. "Maybe you won't believe me.. but I saw him and he was real. I mean, they are real." I said. "What do you mean?" My dad asked. "Dad, the one who took me was a vampire. Can you believe that? They exist." I said, scanning and looking into everyone's eyes.
        They looked at each other. I could see that they already knew. They didn't react the way I did. I looked at my dad, brother, and Shad. "You all knew?" I looked at them once more and my eyes landed on Toby. "Even you, T?" I asked in disbelief. "Look Mika, it's top secret and only Alpha Malcolm will decide who to tell." Toby explained. I looked at my dad. "Dad, you knew about this and you didn't bother to tell me?" I asked with a hurtful look in my eyes. I looked at Shad and pushed him away, getting off of his lap. "You Shad, you knew about this?" I asked.
        "Of course I do. I'm an Alpha. I didn't know that you didn't know those kind of creatures existed." He explained. "Mika, the reason I hide it from you is because it's for your own good." My dad said. "How can it be for my own good dad?" I asked. "Because the less you know about them, the less you'll have the guts to find where they are. We're protecting you Mika." He said. "I don't understand. Why is it so important for you to not tell me about this? And why did that vampire tell me that their King wanted me and he would do anything to get me?" I asked.
        "Because you are the child born under the blue moon. You are the one who has the curse and the gift from the Moon Goddess. Your gift is healing and your curse.... Y-You can be a vampire too, if you wanted. You could bear a child with a vampire." My dad said.
        Everyone looked shocked, even Shad himself looked at my father with disbelief. "How can it be possible? How do you know my curse? And why didn't you tell me that I was born under the blue moon?" I asked. "Because we couldn't take the risk of you being killed by our pack members. Everyone knows about the blue moon curse and everyone wanted the cursed child to die. Your mom and I decided to hide it from everyone and told them that you were born after the blue moon. We consulted the elder oracle to ask the moon of your gift and curse. Thats the reason I hide this from you. But after so long of hiding, he already found you." He said, tears flowing in his eyes.
        I hugged him, wiping away his tears. I finally understood he just did it to protect me. "I understand Dad. Don't worry I'm not mad." I said. "Can everyone leave now? It's been a long day and I want to talk to my mate now. Malcolm, you can come tomorrow if you want or you all can stay here for the night." Shad said.
        "No. We need to get back to the pack. We need some type of plan if that beast will come after us and try to steal my daughter." My dad said. "Okay, let's call it a night and talk tomorrow." Shad said before grabbing my hand and carrying me to our room. I could feel his feelings. 'He's beyond worried about me...' I said to myself.
