Kamijou Touma prepared his notebooks, pencils, erasers, pens and other stuff into his schoolbag.

School was about to start in 2 hours.

No calls for help.

It was so quiet.

It lightened up his spirits, so much so that he ate another round of breakfast at a nearby convenience store, and indulged himself with a single packet of expensive peach-apple pie.

He figured one indulgence would be enough for him, after a month of saving up.

Getting ready to go to school was an important enough activity, and it stood to reason he had to dress up for the occasion.

Going in there with a red hoodie jacket, a white T-shirt underneath it, along a pair of jeans and orange-white sneakers would make Saigo-sensei the school counselor chase him off the campus.

Shivers went down his spine, remembering that incident.

Looking over his bag, and school materials, he felt like he was good to go.

Although he had forgotten something, but he couldn't remember what it was.

'Probably nothing important,' Kamijou thought as he left the dorm.

Unaware of the single piece of paper containing his Japanese History homework.

-

Kamijou yawned for what seemed like the seventh time today as he listened to his geology teacher drone on about minerals and the effects they have on certain Esper powers.

Anything with Esper powers, Kamijou quickly grew bored of.

Out of every single subject Kamijou was wary of, Esper Studies was his weakness. His Achilles heel. His... he can't think of another word apart from those.

Not only was he stuck here, he had to deal with Komoe's scathing lecture on why homework was important, and why abandoning and neglecting it will lead to drastic lifestyle choices.
Not helping was Fukiyose yelling at his ear on why he forgot his Japanese History homework. And the occasional headbutt.
He had no idea why they still hurt.

Fortunately for him, the class bell rang; and everyone went out the room.
As Kamijou walked towards the cafeteria, sounds of panic and terror alerted him of a situation only a couple streets away from the school.

'Hey, no running in the hallways! You'll hurt yourself!' Fukiyose yelled at him running to the bathroom, and he brisk-walked away to the bathroom before speeding off to trouble.

-

'How many hostiles in there? Status of the hostages,' Yomikawa Aiho commanded a nearby officer.

'4 hostiles, three of them with firearms, and one is presumably an esper due to, well,' the officer replied, pointing to the large green-colored glacier in front of the bank. 'We managed to identify them with our Scouts before communication was cut.'

'I need 5 with me, prepare a negotiator right now-' Yomikawa issued numerous commands to the remaining AntiSkill not in charge of maintaining the perimeter.

Yomikawa wished she didn't have to deal with something like this right now. She could've been in school, done with assessing everyone's physical performances, and drink off her stress with her co-worker/s.
But no, she had to answer a Code 9. So she had no choice. She kept watch, alongside the 20 or so men with her. Unaware of a blue-orange blur passing by and entering a vent to the bank.

-

'What the hell was that!? 20 seconds after and we're supposed to start this, but you fucked with the plan you bitch!!!'
