The Black family bid Avalon goodbye as she stepped out of the door.

"Oh, Avalon dear, would you like to come to the Pureblood Ball tomorrow?" Walburga asked.

"Of course, Aunt Walburga, thank you for your family's kind generosity tonight," Avalon thanked them politely.

"It was our pleasure," Walburga said, as she, Orion, and Sirius left for Avalon and Regulus to have a private moment.

"Bye, Reggie, good night!" Avalon smiled as she kissed his cheek and left. The younger Black blushed as his cheeks heated. He carefully placed his hand on where Avalon kissed him and smiled as he looked up to the stars.

When Regulus stepped back in, both of his parents already went to their bedroom and Sirius was standing there.

"Reg, that was brilliant!" Sirius said as he went to pat his brother on the back.

"I know, she kissed me on the cheek!" Regulus exclaimed.

"You are one step closer to the girl you love, Reggie---oh how you grow up so quick!" Sirius said dramatically as he ruffled his brother's hair.

"Ow-stop it, not my hair!" Regulus said as he swatted Sirius's hand away, "-and I'm only one year younger than you!"

"Still younger!" Sirius said annoyingly, "-anyways, good night, Reggie! You'll see your princess tomorrow!"

"'Night, Siri," Regulus grumbled as the two headed up the stairs and departed to their own bedrooms.

The next day, after she woke up, Avalon arrived back at 12 Grimmauld Place to chose her dress and get ready for the ball.

"Oh, Avalon, dear! Come in! There are some people I want you to meet!" Walburga said excitedly as she invited Avalon in.

The two women walked into the living room where Regulus, Sirius, and Orion sat with another dark-haired older man and woman, and three girls.

"Cygnus, Druella, and girls, this is Avalon Raynott, a pureblood orphan from America who is dating Regulus right now. She believes in blood purity just like us!" Walburga exclaimed.

"I am glad. Not many believe in blood purity anymore," Cygnus said as he gave a nod of approval to Avalon.

"Thank you, Mr. Black," Avalon said, not wanting to offend the scary-looking man.

"Dear, don't worry about formal names, just call us by aunt and uncle is fine," Druella said as she gestured Avalon to sit down next to her, "-because you're going to be part of the family soon," she said excitedly.

"Yes, Aunt Druella," Avalon said politely as she sat down.

"Now, dear, why don't you go and get ready to the ball with my daughters?" Druella said as she ushered the four girls upstairs.

"Hi, so what are your names?" Avalon asked, breaking the silence when the four girls entered the room.
