"Darling, are you fine?" Regulus asked the next morning when he saw Avalon's pale face.
"Yes, I'm as fine as I could be," Avalon coldly replied, not looking up from the book she was reading.
"Why are you ignoring me?" Regulus asked.
"I'm not, I am simply overloaded with work and reading to do," Avalon said as she looked up.
Regulus's handsome face was still the same, with his curly dark hair and gray stormy eyes.
"Staring are we, darling?" Regulus said huskily as Avalon blushed, how could she stay mad at this handsome man, she thought.
"Indeed I am," Avalon proudly declared, "as God knew what he was doing putting you into the world like this."
"Stop it, darling--" Regulus whined as his cheeks tinted pink at the compliment.
"Nope," Avalon smirked.
"Regulus, can you please show me the library?" Cassandra interrupted their moment when she walked into the room.
"Sure, Cassie," Regulus said as he leaned over to peck Avalon, "see you later, darling,"
And Avalon was left again, all alone.
Until James Potter and his friends came.

As the weeks go on, Avalon was happier. James, Sirius, Remus, and Peter distracted her from the chaos in her lives. Not only was Cassandra taking Regulus away from her, Tom, now knowing that Ava knew that she was his daughter, started to appear in her dreams and visions, telling her to go to Malfoy Manor to meet him in the summer.
"I have been meaning to tell you guys something," Avalon said hesitantly, not knowing if the group will take the news well.
"Anything, Val," Remus smiled.
"My father is Voldemort," Avalon said as the boys froze, but then hugged her.
"It's fine, Ava, your father is Voldemort, fuck it, we don't care," Peter said as the others looked at him proudly.
"Thanks, Pete," Avalon smiled.
"Your life's shit already, it's only going to get worse," Sirius said worriedly as he facepalmed.
"Don't worry, we'll make sure you're protected at all times," James said determinedly.
"I'm sure you will, Jamie," Avalon said, looking appreciatively to the boy.

When she bid the older boys goodbye, she headed to the library to pick out a few books. After finding a chair to sit down, she started to read her worries away.
Her childhood was always happy, with her mother and stepfather loving her every moment of everyday and giving her everything she want, and sickness just had to take them both away.
Now, they left her in a life of doom and darkness, where everything went downhill.
As if to make matters worse, her boyfriend is now currently spending a lot of time with a girl and her father is a fucking mass murderer.
