With Sirius's absence, the house got a lot quieter, but more gloomy, in a creepy way.
Walburga, in an attempt to forget the absence of Sirius, would pester Avalon and Regulus if they want to get married yet.
Orion, on the other hand, would stay completely silent, locking himself in his office room and doing who-knows-what.
Avalon and Regulus, although unhappy here, was glad that Sirius managed to escape this abusive household. They wondered, when will they be brave enough to do that?
"Come on now, Avalon, let's go and pick your dress at Giselle's Gowns," Walburga said, "it is a dress shop opened up recently by Giselle Yaxley,"
"Okay, Aunt Walburga," Avalon said as she kissed Regulus goodbye, "see you later, love!"
"Bye, darling," Regulus said, a bit jealous that his mother was taking away his girlfriend from him.

"Hello there, Mrs. Black!" Giselle Yaxley smiled kindly, "and who is this young lady?"
"She's my soon-to-be-daughter-in-law, Avalon," Walburga replied happily.
"Oh! Congratulations! Anyways, what can I help you with today?" Giselle asked.
"I would like to find a dress for the Christmas Ball," Avalon said.
"Oh yes! What color are you thinking?" Giselle asked.
"I was thinking of maybe red, because it's a Christmas color, I've already worn green to a ball once, so I would like to change it up a bit," Avalon replied thoughtfully.
"Great! I'll lead you to the red section!" Giselle chirped happily as she lead Avalon and Walburga up the stairs and through some hallways and into a room full of red dresses.
"Here's a few that I think would look good on you," Giselle said as she pulled out three red dresses from the a hanger full of them.

(A/N: I chose three red dresses, but if you don't like any of them, you can imagine it yourself)
