Avalon was excited, no scratch that, not excited for Christmas to come as she packed her trunk up.

"Literally the women are going to be fussing over me and the men are going to act like it was no big deal," Avalon grumbled, "and to add it all on, there's a Christmas ball--"

"Which you are going with me, you'll be fine, darling," Regulus said from behind her.

"Okay, love," Avalon turned around smiling, as she pecked her boyfriend on the lips, but he pulled her closer, and wrapped his arms around her waist as she wrapped her arms around his neck. Before they knew it, they were in a full on make-out as Regulus picked her up and sat down on the bed. He then sucked and kissed at her neck, making a hickey visible, before he stopped.

"I know, love, we're young, and after what just happened to you, we shouldn't do that yet. But I just couldn't resist to mark you," Regulus said huskily as Avalon rolled her eyes but smiled.

"Reggie, I need to pack! With you here, we'll just make-out, come on, out you go!" Avalon huffed as Regulus chucked but went out of the room.

"Come on, lovebirds, stop kissing and get on the train before we leave you here!" Elias teased as Regulus grumbled before he and Avalon stepped in the train.

The five Slytherins found their compartment at the back of the train before sighing at how quickly time passed.

"It's almost Christmas already?" Barty said disbelief.

"I know right? Summer felt so long ago," Avalon said as they put their trunks in the overhead bins.

"But summer was the best," Regulus whispered, "I got you, remember, darling?"

"You've always had me, love," Avalon whispered back.

"Stop being secretive, we would all like to hear what you said, as a matter of fact," Elias said dramatically.

"You sure you're not Sirius?" Avalon teased.

"How dare you compare me to Black! No offense to you though, Reg," Elias gasped.

"Drama-queens," Severus murmured while the others said, "Fuck you, Severus, we're not drama-queens!"

Severus raised up his arms in surrender and shrugged, "Just telling the truth."

"Avalon!" Walburga exclaimed as she hugged the blonde tightly, "I've heard what happened with you and that Rosier boy. I'll mark my words, no Black shall ever marry a Rosier ever again, not after what one of them did to one of us!"

"It's okay, Auntie Walburga. I've accepted and moved on, but not without the help of your son," Avalon said honestly as Regulus smiled lovingly at her.

"Oh, you two are so adorable," Walburga gushed as she looked around the station, "Where is Sirius?"

"He's coming, Mother," Regulus said as he saw Sirius come out, laughing with James, Remus, and Peter.

"And what is doing hanging out with a blood-traitor and half-bloods?" Walburga seethed.

"Mother, didn't you and Father say that you were happy enough at least, if Sirius marries a pureblood girl?" Regulus asked politely.

"We did, but just as we thought he's changed, he didn't," Orion added.

"Oh well, he sure is getting tortured tonight," Walburga said calmly, as if it was a normal thing for a parent to do that.

"Mother, Father," Sirius greeted as he waved goodbye to his concerned-looking friends.

"Let's go," Walburga sneered as the family and Avalon disapparated.

"Why are you still hanging out with filthy blood-traitors and halfbloods?" Walburga sneered as she casted another Crucio at Sirius, who screamed in pain as he fell to his knees.

"At least he didn't hang out with mudbloods," Orion spat as he kicked Sirius.

"Aunt Walburga, Uncle Orion, I have a question," Avalon interrupted as she winked at Sirius, with a now's-the-time-to-escape look in her eyes.

Sirius nodded, smiling before he creeped upstairs to pack up all of his things in his trunk. Regulus quietly followed Sirius and helped his older brother to heal his wounds, although many were still visible due to all of the curses Walburga threw at him and the physical abuse from Orion.

When the two brothers quietly tiptoed down the stairs, they discovered that Avalon had lead both Walburga and Orion to the kitchen down in the basement, asking them questions on the upcoming pureblood Christmas ball.

"Go, Sirius, please be safe, I love you so much," Regulus teared up as he hugged his brother.

"Love you too, Reg, please escape when you can," Sirius said as he ran down the street to catch the Knight Bus, which comes here every Tuesday.

"Bye, Sirius," Regulus whispered.

"I was also wondering are there any more pureblood families coming from somewhere else?" Avalon politely asked.

"A couple are, I believe, such as the Delacour family, but not many else. Most are just from the Sacred Twenty-Eight," Walburga answered.

"Thank you so much, Aunt Walburga, Uncle Orion," Avalon smiled as the three headed back upstairs to see a 'distressed' Regulus in the living room.

"Mother! Father! Sirius escaped, I tried to stop him but--" Regulus started but Orion said the Cruciatus Curse and muttered "stupid boy".

"He's not part of this family anymore, he's disowned," Walburga seethed as she burned Sirius's face off of the family tapestry.

On the inside, Avalon was glad that Sirius escaped from this hellhole, yet, she was afraid of what is coming next for her.
