It was the last week of August when a brown owl came soaring into 12 Grimmauld Place, with a envelope in its beak and a heavy-looking parcel hooked to its claws. The owl then stopped in front of Avalon, who was playing Exploding Snap with Sirius and Regulus.

"Oh? What's this?" Avalon asked as the owl dropped the envelope and the parcel in her hands and flew back out the window.

"That might be from Hogwarts! I can recognize that stamp anywhere!" Regulus exclaimed.

"Open it!" Sirius beckoned.

After tearing open the envelope, she unfolded the letter and the three read.

"Oh my god! I got in!" Avalon squealed as she finished the letter. She jumped up and down and danced around the room.

"Congrats Ava! Now you can come to school with us, oh there is so much we want to show you!" Sirius said excitedly.

"So anyways, there are four houses at Hogwarts. There is Slytherin, Ravenclaw, Gryffindor, and Hufflepuff, I personally believe you would make a great Slytherin," Regulus said.

"I think you'll be a Gryffindor, like me!" Sirius said.

"I bet you 20 Galleons that Ava here will get into Slytherin," Regulus said.

"Deal," Sirius said as the two brothers shake hands, confirming the deal.

"Boys," Avalon said as she facepalmed.

As the first day of September rolled in, the three teenagers got up really early to make sure they packed everything in their trunks.

"Oh my god, Reggie, Ava? Did you see where I put my leather jacket?" Sirius panicked as he looked everywhere.

"You're wearing it, idiot," Avalon said, shaking her head, as Sirius sighed in relief.
