Chapter - 11 : Visit!

Author's pov:

"Anna, wake up ! Your phone is ringing for past 10 mins" Arun called Ravi trying to wake him up.

"What's the time now?" Ravi asked in his sleepy tone.

"Past 7" Arun said and continued his exercise.

Ravi took his work phone and checked the caller ID. It showed 'Sheela'.

He rubbed his face and cleared his throat and took the call.

"Hello Sheela, Good Morning.." Ravi wished Sheela in his professional tone.

"Hi Ravi, Good Morning.. Apologies for calling you early in the morning. I want to reschedule the meeting from 9 to 12. Is that possible?"

"Can you please hold on a minute. I am checking my Boss's schedule."

"Yeah..sure.." Sheela replied. Ravi pulled his laptop and checked Vikramaditya's schedule. Later he confirmed that he's available and rescheduled the appointment. Sheela thanked and disconnected the call.

Ravi messaged the rescheduled meeting information to Vikramaditya and rolled in his bed again. Since the meeting his rescheduled, he wanted to take a nap for few more minutes but it was ruined by his brother.

"You're very boring, anna." He said sitting next to him on the bed. He opened his eyes and looked at him.

"What's boring?"

"When I saw the caller id, I thought something but you guys spoke something." Arun said stressing the word something both times in a different modulation.

"Then, it's your opinion on me." Ravi said and closed his eyes again. He wants to have some more sleep since he didn't sleep well yesterday thinking about Yamini.

"Once upon a time, I thought you were a play boy getting calls from girls from early morning till late evening sometimes at midnight aswell." Arun said. Ravi looked at him like 'you're an idiot'.

"Do you think CEO and Directors will call me directly to talk about the projects and meetings? Then why do they have PA?" Ravi said and closed his again.

"I have a doubt.."

"What?" Ravi asked him with his eyes closed.

"Most of the companies have female PA's. Why Vikram anna hired you as his PA?" Arun asked him interestingly.

"What question is this?" Ravi asked him irritatedly.

"Tell me Anna.. why?"

"Because he likes me and love m..." Before Ravi could complete his sentence Arun interrupted.

"What?? Like, Love? From when?" Arun asked surprisingly. Hearing him Ravi opened his eyes and looked at him.

"I was about to say he likes and love my work." Ravi said glaring at him.

"Ohh thank God. For a minute, I thought about Alakananda and Yamini's life." Arun said releasing his hitched breath.

Hearing Yamini's name, Ravi stiffened and the plan of his nap flew away like Arun released his breath. Ravi was wide awake now. He pulled his body from the lying position to sitting position and leaned on the headboard.

"Speaking of Yamini, do you know what happened at our home yesterday?" Arun asked to which Ravi nodded his head.

"Anna, what do you think about Yamini?" Arun asked. Ravi looked at him not expecting the same question from him like his dad asked.

"I don't know what to say apart from that she's a great girl, Arun. I don't know..." Ravi said.

"Anna, you need a fresh start..." Arun said. Ravi looked at him not knowing whether his brother knows about his past.
