I didn't how the visit went. I just woke up in my room filled with silence. It was something. No one was with me. How could it be? My mother never left me alone when I'm sick.

“Amaranthine...”

My senses hightened at the voice. It felt so close but so far. Hindi ko maintindihan ang nararamdaman. Why does it feel so cold and lonely?

“Amaranthine...”

I know that voice. I've heard it before...

Sino ’yan?

Sino ’yan?

Sino ’yan?

Umiling ako. Bakit...

“Amaranthine...”

“Sino ka!”

Sino ka!

Sino ka!

Sino ka!

Why the heck is that?

“Amaranthine...”

Who the fuck is calling me? Where is everyone?

“Amaranthine... the seed...”

The seed? What seed?

“The seed... It's yours...”

My body moved. What? The seed? Oh my God! The seed!

“She's awake... I'm calling the pack doctor.”

“Aurora, are you okay?” my mother asked.

I had a dream... Parang totoo ’yon. The feeling was true... real... but what was the dream?

But the feeling of restlessness it left is still lingering in my system.

Was my dream that bad to make me feel this way?

“Anak?” Mama called me again.

Lumingon ako sa kan'ya at natauhan. “I-I'm okay...” mahinang saad ko.

My wolf went crazy after her mate claimed his affection for...us.

Right! My mate!

My mother's eyes darkened. “He's in the dungeon. Don't worry, he won't hurt you anymore.”

“D-Dungeon? Hurt me?” nagtataka kong sambit.

“Solace saw what he did to you. Your father and brother were angry that they immediately ordered a warrior to lock him up,” my mother grimly said.

No... They got it all wrong...

“N-No, Ma... I— I...” I was panicking. I couldn't think of a word to say because my mind was in chaos.
